Tutorials in Powerpoint: Lesson 2

How to Adjust Mistakes in Powerpoint

So you've just made a shape in powerpoint but there is a bit of a mistake. How do you fix this quickly without having to remake the shape or making another shape to place over it? Well start by right clicking on the shape with the error.

Posted Image
From the options that appear, select "Edit Points". This allows you to edit the position and curve of each of the points you clicked on to create the shape.

Posted Image
A red outline will appear around the shape with black boxes at points. Drag any of the black boxes to new positions to adjust them OR create new points by dragging from the red line. Keep doing so until you have fixed the mistake.

You may find that in fixing the problem you had, the curve has messed up a little on part of the shape.

Posted Image
If this happens, select the black box where the curve has messed up. Two white boxes should appear attached to the black box by blue lines. These control curves.

Posted Image
To adjust the curve, drag these white boxes as you wish until the curve is how you like.

Congratulations! Your silhouette is as it should be.

Pull my finger!

Not sure if I'm bumping, but are Sydney funnel-web spiders a big threat?

They scare me O-O

Not really. I've never seen one as far as I'm aware - although I have seen redbacks several times. But yeah, spiders don't tend to just go around slaughtering people here and there like you might think :P
