We used to have a cat but it got sick months ago and my dad refused to put it down humanely and forced it to stay alive and suffer. He wouldn't even let him go in his room because he knew the cat wanted to go under his bed and die. Same as on the porch or in the basement. He kept giving him shots of penicillin and moxycillin into the neck scruff. My mom is allergic to it so she was scared she would go into annifalaxic shock if it touched her. Thankfully he is no longer suffering. Accept for his body which my dad has packed full of snow in a crate in our yard. Because he wants the cat to be somewhere he can always go to visit. Not really an option when we got a foot of snow and more coming tonight.

Sorry for your pets guys :(
I used to have three guinea pigs and a rabbit tan an enclosure in my garden. Our cat often played with them but wouldn't harm them. Though my neighbours got a cat and one day later, two guinea pigs were done. The rabbit was too afraid and refused to eat and drink from the stress. It occurred on a Sunday, so the vets were all closed. The rabbit then died during the night. We quickly got the other guinea pig and brought it to a cage in our house to avoid more casualties, and we bought another one, which we named Gollum, one month later in December. We also have a very antipathic dog who farts everywhere and likes to scare puppies. Except this she is the cutest thing in the world. We also kept some chickens in the garden, which laid eggs and hunted down the mice which ate our tomatoes very efficiently, because for some reason, they preferred meat to seeds and any vegetable matter. We gave them to friends because our neighbours complained about the stench. While their cat had killed two of our guinea pigs and was responsible for the death of our rabbit. >:(

I feel sorry for everyone who has lost their animals.
Furka, your dogs rule. What breed are they?
Anyway, I got a dog, Alyss. That‘s the most important thing, but we also have three male Mandarin Ducks, two chickens and some fish. We used to have a cat which we had to put down half a year ago. We also had a breeding pair of guinea pigs, but they died and their offspring is sold when we got the dog because they only lived outside and we were afraid they‘d die from stress.

My dog get along very well, probably from a nasty bite from the rabbit, a grouped attack by the hens when she tried to steal their eggs and a kitten attacking her tail. Poor doggy.

Glad you wash them. Now I kind of wish for a dirty variant like that for the hermann's tortoise.

I also used to have two greek turtles. The male was a small tortoise, olive brown, about 15 cm long, while the female was a real monster around three times his size. They never reproduced, although it's not a matter of trying... we gave them to our cousins who owned a larger garden later.
