Hey y'all, I guess some people might like a topic like this, So I did just make one.. ![]() Today I saw a small group of European Goldfinch, the first ones I've seen this year. Usually we only see a few of them in summer. Also, just the normal birds like commorants, mallards, gulls, blackbirds and other regular birds.

I love this thread, I love the birds and always I watch birds, I see strange birds in my life, but, I don't have photos...this days, I see the common birds...Sparrows, Great-tailed grackles, Red headed vulture and American black vulture...and I listen the Great Kiskadee (Isn't common to see and very confussed with the social flycatcher)

Just saw a Southern Lapwing, a very common bird by those areas. Cosmius, I thought watching a kiskadee was easy in your lands. |

Yes, is easy, the great kiskadee is very common, but, is more rare than the social flycatcher, is...in comparative... one great kiskadee vs 10 social flycatcher...all the days...but, in comparative with other rare birds, is very common... |

Saw a Great Egret a few minutes ago. European Goldfinches and a Eurasian Nuthatch a few days ago and a Buzzard yesterday. @Kevin: I actually see most of the Goldfinches in winter. In fact, I saw them pretty much daily when we had snow. |

@Jesse, Do you mean a ''havik''? If so, that would be a Goshawk. Or don't you know the Dutch name either? Just the regular birds today, and also some Oystercatchers. |
