@Jesse,
Do you mean a ''havik''? If so, that would be a Goshawk.
Or don't you know the Dutch name either?

Just the regular birds today, and also some Oystercatchers.
No, I don't know. It was really big and it flies very fast. ;)

The only birds I saw at school today were some eared-doves and austral trushes. Very common birds here.

The greater birds I've seen in the wild were a buzzard-eagle and a condor.

The most rare bird of prey I've seen in the wild has been the condor. Another memorable specimen was a Buzzard Eagle at a reserve and another one in my last year school trip. I've seen also more great birds. Some black vultures at Buin, a pair of Turkey vultures at Buin, a White Kite at Calera de Tango, a kestrel near my house and many chimango caracaras.

I like bird watching a lot, but I'm not very good at finding rare birds. But it's fun to watch all of the common birds around here.

I have seen a pair of Canada goose or Cracking Goose once in a lake of Japan. I am still curious that they are rare visiter from America or just the escaped captive birds...
