number 2: a conger eel at the sea, in the place i used to swim number 3: i was at the sea (same place of above), looking for octopus underwater. i found a small one hidden on a rock and stabbed it with my spear. as soon as i pulled it off the rock, a huge octopus appeared and tried to grab it from my spear, it failed and so swam away in a hole ... number 4: a falcon chasing a moorhen a few metres from where i was fishing. it almost caught it but the prey landed in the water at the very last second and dodged all the attacks by diving |

1: Leatherback Sea Turtles resting on a beach near Waldport. EXTREMELY rare place to find them. 2: Being within twenty feet of an adult Black Bear and her cubs at the Great Smoky Mountains. Very short encounter, but scary since I was was nine at the time. 3: Seeing a Humpback Whale breach off the coast of Coos Bay during a whale watching trip. 4: Spotting a sea otter whilst ocean fishing in Alaska three summers ago. 5: Going on a manta-ray dive off the Big Island in Hawaii. They were incredibly majestic. Edited by Twirl-a-Whirl, Apr 16 2013, 07:32 PM.

I rarely see wild animals . But there at least 2 that I remember.1: Maybe it's an aviary, but free roaming counts right? A Male Junglefowl was attacked by 2 peahens. That was an exciting scene. But the battle ended and the fowl continues to wander around. 2: Encounter with reef fishes and colorful Nudibranches in a reef when I was snorkeling. |
