Oh how could I forget the otters! It was up at our relative's fly-fishing resort, there were otters everywhere, just playing around to play around. So awesome. |

1. Barely noticed a sea nettle that was roughly 2 feet away from my legs whiel wading near mangroves. 2. Encountered a feisty fish of some sort, maybe a damsel, pretty big, as it made mock charges at me. Turns out I was close to its hidey-hole. Maybe protecting eggs? 3. Chased skinks in dead grass. Boy, are they fast! 4. Nearly got pooped on by a bird. Got my buddy instead. Huuuge glob o' guano on his polo, haha. 5. Um... Saw an itsy spider catch and eat a bitsy fly?

1. Hippo. In a boat. About 2 metres away from it. 2. African elephant, at like 5 metres distance, though it was partially submerged. 3. Spotted hyena, at night, at 3 metres. I wonder if this one shouldn't come second. 4. Same as above but with a Honey badger. It ripped our bin bag apart. 5. Eeeerrrrr, not sure whether these would be Lions, African wild dogs or Secretary bird. All three were quite cool. |

Ok then , Ostrich and Tiger are now removed ! Although the horn bill was in a zoo , it was set free . It moves freely with no one accompanying it . I'll replace them with with a Peacock ( also in a zoo but due to living in the area , it moves freely about without being in an exhibit .) and a Creepy crow that kept following me and my classmate staring at as like this : o_o . 1. I jumped over a Mojave rattlesnake (Crotalus scutulatus) without even realizing it was there. 2. I got really close to a skittish lizard, so close I could touch it. (Desert Horned Lizard) 3. I found a peccary crossing the street and chased after it into a wash. 4. Helped some fledgling mourning doves escape a great-tailed grackle. 5.Walked into my front yard to check on a "desert tortoise" (I was 6) when all I saw was it's head. When it started rattling it scared the living daylights out of me. (Western diamondback rattlesnake, Crotalus atrox) |
