This is basically where I express my creative art-things, talk about the latest news and show process of my zoos/designing.

If you have a question to ask about whatsoever, ask me. :P

So first of, a little something about myself.

I was born on the 7th of April in 2000, therefore I am just 13 years old. I was born in a large city named Tilburg, the Netherlands. From the age of 3, my interest in animals began to grow, especially in Big Cats and Snakes, I just loved them. When I was 5, I moved to the city where I still reside, Apeldoorn. It lies just a few kilometers north of the Veluwe, a big national park in the Netherlands. I also attended secondary school there, in which I'm now almost finished with my first year. When we moved to Apeldoorn, I immediately fell in love with all the foliage around the city, it had a lot more trees, bushes and grasses than Tilburg did. My love for Big Cats was still growing at that time, but soon I found another love; Apenheul Primate Park. A park located no more than 2 kilometers from my house, and dedicated to Primates. They have all kinds of Lemurs, like Blue-eyed Black Lemurs and Lac Alaotra Gentle Bamboo Lemurs. Apenheul Primate Park also houses quite a few rare species, the Crowned Sifaka's are the only ones in the Netherlands and the female is just 1 of the 2 females in Europe capable of breeding. In 2009, the Proboscis Monkeys finally arrived from Singapore Zoo, first we had 3 Proboscis Monkeys, now there's only 1 left. He's the only Proboscis Monkey left outside Southeast-Asia.

My love for primates grew bigger than ever before, and so did my love for photography. Since Apenheul was just around the corner, I could spend there every weekend observing & photographing animals. Around 2007 I came in touch with a game called Zoo Tycoon 2. Little did I know that it would change my entire life. In the late summer of 2009 I found out about all sorts of downloads, and soon began to actually talk with members. I couldn't speak a word of English back then, and pretty much all the English I have learned, I had learned in the community. I have made a lot of awesome friends here, like Jasper, Susan, Kevin, Bent, Nick and Anica. It really feels like home, and I think I won't be sick of it for another few years. :)

What's your favourite zoo (If it's Apenheul, the one after that xD) and why?

@Umpa: My first language is Dutch. Other than Dutch I'm kind of fluent in English, and I can make simple sentences in French and German.

@Kevin: To answer your first question, read the last few sentences in the first paragraph of my second post. xD
And your second question, that's a hard one. I have many zoos I like and many zoos I still want to visit, especially Howlett's Wild Animal Park. But I can't really say that's my favourite zoo after Apenheul, since I have never visited it before. Rotterdam Zoo is also very interesting, so are Amsterdam Zoo and GaiaPark. But if I really had to choose it would be either GaiaPark or Safari Park Beekse Bergen. The first one is a zoo built by the architects of Apenheul, and with many species Apenheul has too. The foliage and exhibits look stunning. But Safari Park Beekse Bergen feels like you're walking or driving on all kinds of different Savanna's, with creative borders, foliage, themed housing and amazing species. Especially Calimero, the biggest elephant in Europe, standing at about 11 ft tall.

What is your favorite memory from Apenheul?

Either the two Black-and-White Rufded Lemurs approaching me, and one climbs on my shoulder or the most recent one, when I was back in Apenheul after it had shut down for the Winter period, I called the howler monkeys at their enclosure, and they seemsd to recognize me because immediately, thry came up towards me and sat down on a branch just a few meters away from me. :)

Zoo building update!

This is an exhibit from a zoo I have been planning since November 2012, it has a lot of realistic touches to it, like corridors and climbing logs. This is the first exhibit I have finished, I´m not to keen about the foliage though. I will probably change it another 20 times before I think it suits. I have also been designing a lot of signs and editting foliage, especially logs for this zoo only.

It will contain Golden-headed Lion Tamarins by the way. :)

As you can see, their off-show enclosure is yet to be finished.

As some of you may know, my main laptop which I use for playing Zoo Tycoon 2, Sims 3 and designing, crashed yesterday. It's very depressing because now I lost a few maps, including 1 of Oakley.

Also, for the dutch people out there, vacation's just around the corner! One day left! :D

I'm sorry Rocky about your laptop, by desktop comptuer died as I was getting back into ZT2 and I can't do nearly as much with my laptop.

The Tamarin exhibit is beautiful though! I love everything about it, honestly (:
