Cats are vicious little beasts. If it was a dog who did stuff that cats get away with well a dog wouldn't. Cats claw you, they vomit, they bite you, they pee on stuff when mad.

Dogs worship you. Cats think you should worship them.

Too many generalizations here. It seems everyone thinks cats are all horrible little monsters while dogs are the sweetest things in the universe. I have news: Personalities vary from individual to individual. Yes, some cats are horrible, but there are many others that are affectionate, loyal, and sanitary. The same goes for dogs. It's why comparing the two is essentially futile.

Although for the record, Any one of the dogs I've met smells WAY worse than all the cats I've met put together. But I'm sure that also changes depending on the individual.

The number of good dogs outweighs the number of good cats.

That is a generalization. I'd say they're roughly equal, but in different densities depending on the neighbourhood.

Nah cats think they own you and almost all cats will pee on your stuff when mad at you. Dogs will love you no matter what.

No, actually, I've seen dogs absolutely hateful of everyone because they've been abused. I've also seen cats the same. I've also seen cats that never pee outside their litterbox (Unfortunately not my own) and dogs that make messes everywhere they go, even inside.

Cats can be treated great and are still nasty. Dogs can be treated bad and they will still love you.

The fact that this topic is comparing dogs and cats means there's gonna be generalisations xD

Cats, in general, are much more dominant than dogs. They think everyone should worship then and believe you're their slave because you feed them. A dog's default mode is "love", as dogs areautomatically listening to humans. Dogs have a special human interaction program. It is only education which will change that. And the dog generally considers you his god and worships you... for the same reason the cat wants you to worship him.

I don‘t think dogs worship you or cats want you to worship them. Their mind doesn‘t work that way. You just have to earn their respect. And dogs will obviously react differently on someone who earned their respect than cats, since cats were originally solitary animals and dogs always lived in packs. Training also matters quite a lot, and let‘s face it, cats are harder to train than dogs.

AJ‘s right about smell. Cats smell significantly less than dogs.

*still on team dog*

The cat in itself does. However, most (not all) dogs know not to pee inside their master's house, while cats need a litter -.-

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

I'd rather change a box of sand every week them go out and scrape their stuff up out of the grass every day, personally.

And my cat just wants to be everyone's friend - he's the sweetest little guy. He's not spiteful at all, and has never peed on anyone's stuff.

And unlike our dogs (which smell nasty even when clean most of the time), he has no smell whatsoever.
