The lost thread is revived! I learned that zoos keep their large carnivores in exhibit with wooden fences that have giant slits in the sides. Of course, no guard fence separates guests from the cage, so they can pet the "nice" animals. |

Don't forget about the terrible dodos too... I learned that zookeepers are lazy people and love sitting in benchs while there is a lot of work to do. I also learned that animals won't eat / drink from recipients that are against walls. Edited by Ignacio, May 8 2013, 09:46 PM.

I learned that you can bathe animals while they are walking around, and that its just as easy to bathe animals underwater- and somehow bubbles form when you do it. I also learned that zookeepers carry large rifles in somewhere in their suite for every-time a tiger escapes. |

I also learned that animals love to walk against rocks and fences, and that they will keep doing it until they die of thirst or hunger, unless i pick them up and moving to some other place... |

Walrus is the deadliest marine mammal in the world. There is tundra in Madagascar, inhabited by fierce, meat-eating penguins. Whale sharks and great white sharks live in benthic depths. Guests mostly visit zoos to eat, drink, rest and go to the toilet. Animals only attack adult men. Velociraptor, male Utahraptor and Protarchaeopteryx were the only feathered dinosaurs ever. Deinosuchus was a spiky, medium-sized crocodile. Koalas eat leaves on the ground. Animals very rarely eat plants that grow in their enclosures. Birds can only fly a few centimeters over the ground. Snakes, small birds, invertebrates and most bony fish appear to be banned from zoos. You can have your butt bitten and be shaken by a full-grown tiger, but you won't get any injuries, not even pain or bruises. Glasses were invented by Stokesosaurus 150 millions of years ago. Zebras can't pass through shallow rivers. Conservation fences can't be removed, not even with every nuclear warhead in the world. Edited by Komodo, Jun 6 2018, 12:07 AM.

Its a zookeeper's job to put extremely expensive water bowls in every corner of an exhibit, even if the animal never uses them. |

I learned that people never bring their own food to zoos just so they can complain when you don't hand it to them. |

I learned that: A. That Dinosaurs are just grumpy creatures that love to rampage no matter it is happy. B. That T.Rex and Triceratops love to play and this behavior is put on a bunker disguise (read on the zoopedia of Dinosaur Ranger Bunker or something) C. That Styracosaurus is preyed by Carnotaurus (again at the Styracosaurus' Zoopedia XD) D. That zoos contains a variety of fossils everywhere. E. That a tiger will sit down when a Deinosuchus is swallowing it F. That American Beavers are great flyers with their tail (happened once xD) G. That Polar Bears have short ears and a face of a Yeti H. That sea lions needs freshwater to drink or else it will die I. That animals are irritated to man but nice to woman and Kids. J. That Guest can go out of the zoo by just walking against a fence. K. That african elephants have very big eyes and rough skin. L. That Asian Elephants, African Elephants, Okapis and Zebras are sometimes pink. M. That animals don't have blood N. That guests are super-curious so they love to fall from elevated paths to animal exhibits. O. That you can't put anything than animals on conservation areas, eventhough you can enter it. P. That Guests don't feel educated by the tour when they see animals on the wrong biome, eventhough they already knew it. Q. That Educators rarely see what they supposed to read. R. That stegosaurus is so cute, that even stokesosaurus can kill it in a single touch of a snout. A big list there

1. There are more hippies than you'd think. 2. Fossils are literally everywhere. 3. People like to wear shorts and a T-shirt when visiting Antarctica 4. A dead elephant looks exactly the same as a dead lemur. 5. Everybody is alone. No one ever visits a zoo as a group and even children go without parents. |
