I learned that-
Meerkats are able to dig through brick and solid asphalt
The sole purpose of any cetacean is to throw itself onto land and then slide 30 feet.
Gibbons can be housed in enclosures with iron bars as they wont have the slightest thought of escape.
A 2 foot tortoise requires a 20 by 20 foot cage
Peafowl are monstrous creatures that attack everyone
Sharks absolutely love to jump out of their tanks and flop on the dirt
95% of animals cant even go into shallow water
Masai Giraffes have slanted necks, while Reticulated have necks that go 90 degrees up.
Dinosaurs are angry creatures, willing to destroy anything or anyone, anytime.
Black Leopards are a single species
African elephants are pink
Kangaroos have completely rectangular feet.
A zookeeper will either sit on a bench for 12 hours, or they will
Alpine animals enjoy living on and jumping off straight up vertical cliffs.
Guests can function without a head, but eat like dinosaurs.
It's impossible for a wolf pack to coexist.
Bird wings smash into the dirt as they fly.
Reptiles and birds can "drop" their eggs into water, but they still hatch.
Guests, specifically kids like to come to a zoo to scream at moose, then run to the far side of the map because the zebra glanced at them.

Actually you can have a wolf pack, they just all have to be related... :P

Many animals, if angry, will simple sit in place roaring or hissing.

Or you must have a ratio of 1 male per female, each able to breed with another "free" mate ... solution which is hard to set for breeding several generations ...

I learned millionaires come to the zoo carrying one million of cash whereas they'll spend less than one thousand

A large quantity of animals, when hungry, prefer to sit there and snarl instead of eating from the food dish that's right beside them!

Visitors can't climb through 90cm tall fence, but meerkats will stop at nothing to dig outside (even through concrete paths) and scare the children.

Chimps, gorillas, Gigantopithecus, Orangutans, and Gibbons can climb over iron bar fences, but for some reason Mandrills, Geladas, and Barbary Apes can't! xD

Apes in general won't get out of your enclosure if you have a tree on the edge. Never.

Well this was my misconception. When I first read from the zoopedia that the javan rhino gene pool was too small I made massive WATER pools for them to help them breed.

That's actually quite cute Collin xD

I learned that if an animal dies in even a few inches of water, carnivores can't eat it. Including animals like Crocodiles which eat almost all of their meals in the water.

I have learned that to get a loyal zookeeper that does his/her job you need to lock them in the exhibit.

I found out that as long as there is a bench in the exhibit, they will stay in place.

I learned female wolves spend their lives challenging eachother to mortal comba until they starve to death.
