Neofelis Nebulosa

Hey, I'm Evan, but I go by the username Neofelis. Neofelis is the genus of Clouded Leopards - my favorite animals -, there are currently two Clouded Leopard species, namely; Neofelis Nebulosa (Common Clouded Leopard) and the Neofelis Diardi (Sunda Clouded Leopard). I live in Downtown Chicago, in the state of Illinois. Chicago is the third-largest city in the United States after Los Angeles and New York City. We have two big zoos, Lincoln Park Zoo and Brookfield Zoo. My favorite animals are cats and primates in general, especially Clouded Leopards (if you haven't noticed already  ).Feel free to ask me questions!

Hello Evan! I don't really have any questions, but it's nice to see someone from near me here! I'm in Northwest Indiana. I've not been to Chicago in a while, but I'd like to try and go to Brookfield Zoo this summer. |

Big Cats specifically clouded leopards are some of my favorites also. Primates are my favorite animals overall though. I love lemurs, apes, monkeys and more. |

I haven't been to brookfield zoo recently either. Though my last visit to Lincoln Park Zoo was 2 weeks ago. Oh gosh it's 3 AM and I'm still up. I should probably go to bed. |

That's a pretty hard question to answer. xD I don't really have just 1 favorite. And if I had to choose one, it would probably be the Beaver exhibit at the Childrens' Zoo or one of the exhibits in the Small mammal and reptile house. |

My mom always thinks im weird when it comes to zoos. She sits and watches the cuddly red pandas and massive elephants and obscure giraffes while I am more fascinated with the smaller anteaters, birds and lizards

You're telling me. My favorite animal at the zoo were the elephant shrews. The big animals are great, but I find the small ones in the indoor houses most interesting. |

I know. Same with me and the really rare animals that look normal. Like I almost fainted at the sight of a heard of Pere Davids Deer at the Saskatoon Zoo. My mom said "They're deer." |

Meanwhile I go to my local zoo to see the Tigers and hope to see the Zebras. Although the white tiger really likes me and I love her enthusiasm. She always follows me and bounces off the walls. Anyways what was your favorite zoo experience? |
