Thank you a lot ! Groupers and carangidae are two fish families we badly need, and you picked two of the most beautiful ones !

EDIT: the trevally is nameless ingame tho.
Thanks for reporting the bug. I made a mistake in the English lang file, but my game uses the Dutch lang files so I didn't notice it xD
Please re-download, the bug should be fixed.

They look really nice Dycki! Feel free to release them ;)

I have been working on a Sockeye Salmon, but I don't really understand how they 'work' in real life. There seem to be two variants, 'ocean' and 'spawning'. Does anyone here know how these work? Does ocean turn into spawning?

Most of the time they live in the ocean but when breeding season comes or spawning they go to rivers, mate, and lay their eggs.

Ah ok, thanks! Do they turn into the ocean variant again after they have laid their eggs or do they just stay in the spawning form?

Won't they all died after laying the eggs?

Actually, they die after they lay their eggs. And that's the sad story of a salmon.

I have an idea how I can implement this in ZT2.
The ocean variants will be standard. Right before it starts mating, the ocean variant will change into the spawning variant. After the mating the male dies and after the egg laying the female dies.

Are you guys interested in this idea, or do you prefer a version where the spawning variant is just an ordinary model variant ?

Then they're the young salmon, which look completely different again.

I think it's a very nice idea.
Perhaps it could be implemented by making females unable to lay eggs if they are not in a freshwater habitat, but that would be a lot of extra work.
