That's absolutley amazing! It was really needed because I know a lot of zoos that have such doors as exit, mostly these are made of iron. Like this one:

Wonderful job Thom! Also congratulations on learning how to make new stuff, I'm sure it took a lot of effort. It's great to see you working on new items with new animations, designers have been focusing a lot in animals so this is a great addition :)
I'm looking forward to see what else you will show us in the future!

Good animations, I think scratch will be a good program to make animations

Good job! It feels like the old Zoo Tycoon 2 has taken up into to its own brand new level, the advanced technology!

Thanks everyone, glad you like it :)

@Furka, I made a version with glass surrounding it, but I didn't really like. I might work on it again later ;)

Great idea!
If you want a blueprint for animated object interactions, check out my uprootable tree or things like the tire swing or bouncy rides. To make guests pass through would probably work without tap animations, just with two simple dock nodes. So the rotation would only happen after a guest docks to the node, and then the guest is passed through the door by a sequence of walking anims.

Updated the model a bit :P I'm satisfied with it for now, I just have to scale it a little bit so it fits nicely between two normal fences.

@HENDRIX, Thanks for the suggestion! And I'll certainly take a look at your stuff :)

This is amazing! There have been many times where I've thought a revolving door would be more useful for a building, haha

The coding is starting to look pretty good :)

This video shows the interaction with an Educator because it's easier to test. The final result will interact with guests of course.

Unfortunately it's not perfect, but getting it to look like this was already pretty difficult xD
I'm gonna try to sync the walk and rotate animation a bit better and maybe move the docking nodes (=starting point of the educator) a little bit. As you may have noticed, the rotation animation does something weird when it begins. I have no idea why because it looks fine in Blender, so I don't know if it's fixable...

EDIT
Fixed the little animation bug :) It turned out there was something wrong with keyframe 0 :P
