Well since everyone seems to be doing one of this lately, i thought i might open a topic my self so you guys can get to know me a little bit better (if you wan't of course). So feel free to ask me anything you want! To begin with some random and basics facts about me: Real Name: Ignacio User name: Zoocrazy (kind of obvious  )Comunity nicknames: ZC (?) Age: 24 (yeah i'm old )Where am i from? Argentina (one of the most beautiful countries in the world (L) ) What do i do in life? At the moment i'm studying medicine at the university (last year) Favorites: - Color: blue - Number: 8 - Letter: A - Living animal: probably siberian tiger (although the orca and the Okapi are in the top three) - Extinct animal: Velociraptor - Music band: Coldplay - Movies: several (i LOVE the cinema) my favorite genders being suspense/crime, horror, fantasy and science fiction. Some of my favorites are: "Jurassic Park", "Hugo", "Mr. Nobody", "Back to the future", "TLOR", "The Lion King", "Toy Story", "The Beauty and the beast", "Peter Pan", "Bicentenary Man", "The Dark Knight", "The exorcist", "Donnie Darko", "Across the Universe", "August Rush", "Big Fish", "The Empire of the Sun", "The Sixth Sense", "Indiana Jones", some of the Star Wars movies, "A Colckwork Orange", "2001: An Space Odessy", "Inception", "Psicosys", "Rear Window", "Seven", "Meet Joe Black", "12 Monkeys", "Matrix", "V for Vendetta", "American Beauty", "A beautiful Mind", "Avatar", "Titanic", "The constant gardener", "City of God", and many others but i'm too lazy to complete the list  - Tv series: GoT, Dexter, Modern Family, Lost (even i already finished with this one), House MD (same as with Lost), Friends, The Simpsons - Book: very hard to choose, but i'll have to say the Harry Potter series is quite important to me, but i also have a few favorites: "Blindness", "Duplicated Man", "Dracula", "The Shadow of the Wind", Song of Ice and Fire series, "Martian Chronicles", " And Then There Were None", "Animal Farm", "The little prince" Ans that is all for now. I don't know how often i will update this thread, but ask and i shall answer WARNING: my life could bored you to the death |

So i think i'm also going to use this space to talk about my zoo's projects in zoo tycoon. Like i said in my show and tell, i'm working not only in the next part of IguaZOO (which is hold at the moment due to lack of free time) but also in a new asian/chinese zoo. These last few days i made a lot of progress on it and i'm really happy with how is everything looking at the moment. I'm kind of struggling with the ground foliage of the exhibits (which i think i change it completly at least three times by now)... i think i finally find an style that it goes well with the general looks of the zoo. I'm building this zoo not to show only (which i'm planning to do as an exclusive S&T for TRT) but also to play with it. Anyway, is half complete at the moment, but even if i finish it soon i won't going to start showing it until i got the pandas remakes from AD, so i guess i will have to wait for a long time.

I'm feeling really really frustrated with IguaZOO at the moment. I currently have 4 exhibits of the new map already build. While i'm happy with the general layout of all of them i can't decide about the foliage. I just found a foliage combination that i like for the anteater exhibit but i'm not convinced about how it looks with the scrub biome. I tried savanah too but it looks worst. I have a similar problem with the maned wolf exhibit. I like this exhibit a lot, but i don't know what to do with the foliage... yes i have a couple of palm trees and the pampas grass of AD, but i need to place a lot of grass and nothing look good enough. I changed the savanah biome to a grassland one in that exhibit, and while it looks much better, now i have no foliage to put in there that could even remotly resemble the maned wolf natural biome (which is the main goal of my exhibits so far, in case you didn't notice that). On the other hand the peccary exhibit looks fine, but is really really simple, and i'm not used to build simple exhibits... i guess i have to learn to live with that ( Simple exhibits are not bad exhibits, ZC!!! ). I laso make a exhibit for the giant armadillo (which i don't have in a realistic version by the way) with an amazing underground viewing point... but again i have problems with the foliage... i used a couple of palm trees, some leafless bush and a couple of scrub plants... but still looks so bare! And finally i'm in some kind of creative block of some kind because i can't think of good exhibits for the rest of the animals!! So yeah, i hate being like this, because i really want to show you this zoo... but while i have ideas for what i want to do with the Amazon aquarium or the tapir enclosure, i have no idea what to do with the map i'm currently working on (and those last two exhibits are not even in this map ). I don't think anyone read this but i just wanted to express my self about it because i'm really angry with my self... |

I'm very happy on how things are going with IguaZOO right now. My inspiration has come back!!! Yay. I just finished (or almost, there are a few details to work on yet) the patagonian steppes exhibit. I found a foliage combination that looks perfect, exactly what i was looking for. I also just design the nacunda and owl aviaries, and this time i think is more realistic So now i have only three exhibits left to finish this map  Unfortunaly i'm very busy studying for my finals exams this month... so i can't play more than a couple of hours a day. What i mean is that even with so few exhibits left to be build the zoo will have to wait a bit more until i can show it. |

I can't wait to see the new updates for IguaZoo. I'm not feeling particularly creative lately, so I know how frustrating it is when things just... won't... appear. XD Anyway, what branch of medicine are you studying at university? |

Yeah it sucks... and what it sucks even more is that the ideas appear when i'm really busy and i can barely work on them But i try at least to draw it in paper or in the computer so they don't disapear And right now i'm finishing medical school, so i'm not studying any branch in particular. I got a few finals left and i have to do the final practice, and i get my degree (with luck by this time next year). But i want to specialize in pediatrics

lolol, I do the same thing at work! I have a pad of yellow legal paper that I sketch on XD I'm so happy that I'm not the only person who does that. That's really fantastic about medical school and your plans to specialize in pediatrics. I'm thinking about going back to school for radiology, I just don't know if I can (a) afford it, and (b) balance it with my work obligations. |

Yes don't worry you are not the one! I actually make a topic about that here i think (i'm not sure i was the one that started it but i'm sure i made a comment there ) And yes i understand. I don't know about radiology, but medicine is very demanding. I spent most of my day studying and when i used to have classes (i finished all my classes last year) there wasn't any time left to have a job unfortunaly. Here public universities are actually better that the private ones (unlike the US i guess), but i had to move to another city in order to study medicine, so i have to spend money on the rent, food, books, transportation, etc. So is not entirely free, but is not impossible either. |
