Snyf's Character Sheet Name: Frederick Douglas Age: 27 DOB: September 19, 1986 Gender: Male Alias(es): Fred; Tamuka (his given name); Witch Doctor; Sangoma Physical Description: Frederick possesses a very lean athletic body with strong arms and heavily-built legs. He has a tattoo of a sangoma mask in his mid-back. He usually wears casual t-shirts and jeans, but when at work, he wears traditional sangoma clothes and rags with the corresponding mask. History: He was raised by parents whose life goal was to travel the world. Their travels and adventures usually lead them into perilous situations, and their final stop was a small village in Zimbabwe, where the messed with a few villagers and got themselves killed. Frederick, at age 5, was taken in by the sangomas, or witch doctors, and raised in their arts. They gave him the name Tamuka, meaning 'he has risen'. Eventually, by age 23, he was called back to Gotham to care for his ailing great-aunt, Vera. Strengths: Advanced ability of using wooden staves. Knowledge of using herbs and traditional medicine. Weaknesses: Possesses more of a passive ability, and can only use a staff to defend himself. Affiliation: Hero Misc. Information: N/A ---------- Name: Vera Murray Age: 63 DOB: June 21, 1950 Gender: Female Alias(es): The Crone; The Beauty; Old Hag Physical Description: Vera is an old, hunchbacked woman with very few strings of grey hair falling over her wrinkled face. She has piercing grey eyes, a hooked nose, and cracked lips. Because of her extremely grotesque outer features, they call her the Beauty. She wears decrepit brown robes, as she would freeze to death without them. History: Vera was born into the extremely wealthy Murrays in the 20th century. She was raised with poise and grace, always acting her best in gatherings and conferences. She was renowned for her astounding beauty and educated brain. Suitors begged for her hand, but she denied each one. She never wanted to get married; all she ever wanted was theatre. It was her dream to act and sing in one of those productions, but her parents forbade her the work of the lower class. She then grew old and bitter, living alone in her small ragged apartment. After looking through her collection of masks and plays and soundtracks, she had an idea.. Strengths: She's very cunning and smart, preferring to stay on the sidelines and unleashing a force to be reckoned with. Weaknesses: Her old failing body prevents her from actually fighting or putting on too much physical activity. Affiliation: Villain Misc. MiBound's Character Sheet Name: Catherine St. John Age: 22 DOB: October 15 Gender: Female Alias(es): "Harpy" Physical Description: 5'6", slight build with a dense core of muscle. Dirty-blonde hair, green eyes, pale skin. No visible piercings or tattoos. Scarred knuckles, heavily calloused hands (particularly the inside of her thumbs and pointer-fingers). Missing the top of her left ear. History: Adopted as an infant, Catherine knows nothing about her birth family. She grew up happy and healthy with the St. John family, as the only and beloved daughter of her parents, Roland and Elizabeth. Growing up in the upper-middle class of Gotham, she was mostly shielded from the grimier, nastier elements of the city. As an adult, she's found it impossible to ignore what is happening to her hometown. After spending years reading reports about Batman and his various sidekicks and partners fighting back against superhumans, monstrous villains, and alien (!) warlords with nothing more than their wits and a few gadgets, she figures it's high time for her to either join the fight or move. Seeing as there's no other place in the world she'd rather live (despite it's glaring problems), there's only one thing to do... Strengths: Proficient use of rapier, targe, hand-and-a-half, and gladius swords from years of SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) training and participation. High tolerance for pain. Ability to think clearly in dangerous and/or chaotic situations. Weaknesses: A bit naive and trusting. Not always willing to take necessary risks. Will bail without warning if it appears the odds of a fight are against her (and her allies, if there are any). Affiliation: Hero Misc. Information: Catherine (never Cat, Catie, or Cate, etc) knows she was adopted but knows nothing about her birth family. She was found on the steps of one of Gotham's many Homes for Wayward Youths as an infant. After spending a year in foster care, she was adopted by the St. John family. Both her mother and father are professors of medieval history and both are members-in-good-standing with the SCA. Catherine was encouraged to join and enjoyed learning skills that most have forgotten or relegated to the realms of fantasy. She--along with a few other young women SCA members--developed a style of swordplay better suited to their slighter builds and lower centers of gravity. While she is not undefeated in SCA tourneys, she is often able to defeat men larger, stronger, and more experienced. Her fighting style emphasizes speed and accuracy, along with the crucial element of surprise. ---------- Name: Anthony Vincenzo Age: 35 DOB: January 1 Gender: Male Alias(es): Two-Shots (former), Mr. A. Vincenzo, Esq. (current) Physical Description: 6'2", massive build. Always impeccably dressed. Short black hair, dark brown eyes, permanent tan. Almost never seen smiling, frowning, laughing, or making facial expressions of any kind. History: A former enforcer for the Falcone Crime Family, Mr. Vincenzo "straightened his life out" around the age of 30 and "went legit." He is now one of the primary defense attorneys for... the Falcone Crime Family (purely a coincidence, of course). He is a terror in the court room and has defeated solid cases against his clients more than Gotham City Hall would like to admit. Although his exact position within the hierarchy of The Family are unknown, it is safe to assume he is involved in more than just injunctions and bail hearings. Strengths: An intimate and near-frightening grasp of the law and legal loopholes in Gotham's criminal justice system. Unflinching, unforgiving, and unmerciful in the courtroom. Manages a deep well of paid informants scattered throughout Gotham's political, judicial, and law enforcement circles. Weaknesses: Delusions of grandeur. The Falcones value Mr. Vincenzo's services, but have warned him many times against letting it go to his head. He does not react well to things that happen outside of his realm of influence. Hates surprises. Affiliation: Villain. Misc. Information: None at this time. |
