Titan is working on an amazing Giant Otter for the South America Paradise pack. I got to preview it during the Marathon contest and trust me, it's worth waiting for. ![]() The slender-snouted crocodile is a great idea, and I don't think that (appearance-wise) the animals look too different. The Sambar Deer might be possible, but I'm not sure what to do about the antlers. They have a pretty distinct antler formation... Indian wolf is also a possibility, but I already have the Mexican Wolf and Eurasian Wolf on the To-Do list so maybe not another wolf right away (though I love canines so... who knows? lol) Siberian Lynx could be awesome too. We're lacking Siberian animals and they have reaaally lovely coats. I'm going to add Slender-snouted Crocodile and the Siberian Lynx to the list and then close it for voting. Thanks everyone! I really appreciate all the suggestions. Poll should be up shortly, so get ready to vote! ![]() Voting will end 6/22/13. Though I'll probably make all of these at some point, unless someone else beats me to them. lol |

Is the Platypus even PD? I don't think I can release a reskin unless I get permission from the original designer (Longisquama, no?) I've never been dissatisfied with the Platypus, either... Is there something wrong with it? Totally wasn't expecting the Armadillo to be such a popular choice! Looks like zoocrazy may get his wish

How have I not seen this before? Your work is wonderful. It doesn't even look like you've just begun designing!

These are my first two 100% finished and released projects. I started some other stuff which I plan on finishing later, but it's pretty easy to get the hang of once you've read the tutorials and worked on a few things. It's the modeling that escapes me (and rigging which seems to escape most people...), and some of the coding. But yeah... skinning isn't really that hard Thanks though!

Looks like it's tied up between the Southern Long-nosed Armadillo and the Slender-snouted Crocodile. I sense a schnozz theme going on here...

I just googled the crocodile. It looks really cool and i wouldn't mind having one of those either. but what model are you going to use for it? The head has a very distintic shape... is something between a gharial skull and a regular crocodile. |

![]() Do you think they're different enough to warrant a model edit? I could try to figure it out by the time I get to this guy IF it wins the vote, or maybe I could sweet-talk someone who knows how to model-edit into helping me... Top image is a Slender-Snouted Croc, bottom is a False Gharial. |

Yeah, weird how convergent evolution works sometimes. I guess that snout is pretty well-suited for fishing if they both evolved that way to do the same thing. Pretty neat, imo. ![]() Update: And the anteater zooms ahead with 2 more votes!
