I absolutely love it However, even compared to the refpic, the transition between head and neck looks kinda abrupt to me.

Yes i think that is what it was bugging me! Is not the feathers of the head, just the abrupt transition between the colors of the head and the body. |

I think the main problem is the head size, but it could be also be a little darker. Note that you can simply scale down the head node in nifskope to change that - it's sort of a bush fix but it works.

![]() Bottom is old version, top is new version. Made the head a little greener and darker, and got rid of a lot of the blue in the body to make the transition seem less severe. Also shrank the head a teensy bit. Thoughts? |

Definitely better! The shininess is really spot on now! Oh and if you're already at it, you coul size up the spine node by maybe 1.3 to make the legs relatively smaller.

Golden-headed Quetzal Released!![]() Click on the image to download! Finally finished (well, mostly). HUGE thanks to the ZTABC team for the original model (correct me if I'm wrong platy), the original coding (Red Bird-of-Paradise), and platypus for (once again) supplying me with the model. This one has a male skin (already shown here), female skin with a grayish-brown head and slightly duller colors, and a baby skin. I also added real Golden-headed Quetzal calls in the sound files in case you like listening to the birds in your zoo. Additionally, papageno has graciously volunteered to translate my zoopedia so we can add some additional languages! Once I have them up and working, I'll re-release the Quetzal with the updated string files! Thank you, papa! ![]() As always, glitch and bug reports can be submitted here or via PM. Enjoy! |
