I love the skin! But I thought the males of the Eastern subspecies were dark with white markings, like this:

Either way, I love the work you've done with this, and I hope you get permission to release it! Surprising how well the red kangaroo model works for this species :P

HAHA LOOK AT THAT CUTE FACE OMFG STAHP.

I have a few decent full body refs for what I think are probably male Eastern Wallaroos, so I'll see what can be done over the weekend. I guess we can consider the revealed skins the variants for the females and juveniles for now. :)

And yeah, once I shrank the ears down a bit and reduced the nose bump, it looked pretty good for a wallaroo. I'd love to make the legs a little stockier and the feet shorter, but beggers can't be choosers.

Before we do anything substantive, I want to get permission to release this when it's done.... or is the Red Kangaroo part of A and B? I believe I read that AD gave blanket permission to use models from those parts...?

Edit: Also, do we think it's okay to have the females range from brown-sandy brown-gray? Wikipedia describes the females as mostly sandy brown, but then in another part mentions the subspecies as being gray...

Quote:

Eastern wallaroo (M. r. robustus) – Found in eastern Australia, males of this subspecies have dark fur, almost resembling the black wallaroo (Macropus bernardus). Females are lighter, being almost sandy in colour.

...

The eastern wallaroo (Macropus robustus robustus)—which is grey in colour—occupies the eastern slopes of the Great Dividing Range and the euro (Macropus robustus erubescens)—rufous in colour—occupies land westward.

From the looks of it the females are pretty variable in colour within the brown-gray spectrum, so it seems fine to me :P
Also, to tell you the truth, I sort of already went ahead and made the edits without waiting for your answer, so if you want it, the model is done :P
