That's because it's already on the list, silly ![]() So good news and bad news. Good news: Both Jannick and Tom have given me permission to use their respective models for the Tree-Kangaroo and Bushpig. For the record, the Tree-Kangaroo model IS public domain. ![]() Bad news: I THOUGHT I saved my PSD file for the Prevost's Squirrel as a layered copy. I did that "just in case" my computer did something bizarre when I went to work. So I turned the screen on today (I almost never shut it down or log out) and--SURPRISE!--it rebooted itself overnight either for some Windows Updates or because of a brief power outage from the t-storms in the area last night. So I thought "Eh, no big deal. I saved my work!" Opened up the file in Photoshop and--SURPRISE!--I saved it as layers, but not all the layers I needed. The skin layer is merged and the separated layers are just the UV map and reference photos. I'm trying to salvage it and finish it on one layer, but I'm really annoyed by the entire situation. I'm not sure how well it'll turn out, and I'm not interested in starting over from scratch. We'll see how it goes and if variants will even be possible without screwing up the skin entirely. Sorry guys

It's on the first page I'm still trying to salvage the squirrel. I saved a much, much earlier version (just the flat colors) so if I really bungle it, I guess I can start again from there. I just really liked the texture layers I found and a lot of the edits that I did from the flat colors point forward. Oh well... XD |

Oh sorry Then i'm happy about the deer but sad about what happened with the squirrel. I'm sure the result will be great anyway. Computers are impredictable, that is why i always make a backup of everything i think is important in pendrives or external hard disks

This happened to me once. The texture and colour layers had fused and new texturing was giving me a hard time It was my Swinhoe female.BTW, it is awesome, though I suggest making the tail blend in more. Edited by Jules, Jun 13 2013, 03:58 PM.

How so and where? Red pen would be awesome if you can. Do you mean with the grey on the tushy versus the grey underside of the tail? |

Gotcha, thanks. I'll make the black on the butt area extend down more to cover that. |

Prevost's Squirrel is almost ready. Having some issues with the Zoopedia and getting the mini-profile map location correct (first install showed American Southeast, second showed Africa...). Might be ready by tomorrow
