It's always nice to see someone new to designing, but there's a couple of things I'd like to suggest

a) These are completely scratch made models? If so, I think it'd be good if you looked into better ways of creating UVs, because these have a lot of stretches. To make your designs better you'll want to have a lot more efficient UVs.

b) A lot of your models are... irregular. The best example of this is the Woolly Mammoth tusks. The base is extremely thin, non-circular, and looks like it's just been pushed into the head, while further down the tusks, it suddenly widens, and then returns to slowly tapering to the end. Woolly Mammoth tusks do not have such a sudden widening in the middle of the tusk

c) Some of your models have unnecessary vertices. Looking at the tails of your animals, there is a high concentration of vertices that are utterly unneeded and could easily have been removed.

d) The skins of some animals (and I'm specifically looking at the Arsinoitherium for this) haven't got a very good texture flow. If you look at the Arsinoitherium head skin, you'll see there are some textures perpendicular to others, and it all looks a bit weird to me.

I trust you can see the difference? I just quickly made this to show you the difference between your texture flow and that of a rhino (which I think is a good analogue, since they have similar body plans/head shape)

Apart from that (and more minor things like definition of the Uinta's Ossicones) it's good :)

Let me just say that this isn't trying to discourage you as a designer, but to try and help you develop your skills.

oh by no means do i consider that post to be discouraging Okeanos, in fact i am grateful that you spent your time to explain to me :D .

i am also much aware of all those flaws, but these were actually done quite some times ago and i have gather more experience since then. for the UV map, i simply can never found myself any interests in doing it so you could say that i'm very lazy when it comes to that part :P . i have put more works in them now, if you look at the UV of the zilla you'll see:

as you can see i merged the 2 UV islands of the arms and legs together (the most boring part ever), this way the skin can look good from the side, there won't be any seams at the transition between the body and the limbs or any that cut the limbs in half. the head is also separated from the body and enlarged for more details. this is probably the best UV i can make so far, could there be any way to make it better?

the skin of the arsinoi is probably one of my worst, and i probably gonna try again one day. the mammoth tusks were... kind of my attempt to make it more unique :P but i guess it don't really works out, it was based from Manny the mammoth xD . but true that it should be rounder.

again, thank you for your feedback :)

Well if you moved things around a bit, like moving the foot, hand, eye or mouth UV up to the space above the Zilla's back, you'd have much more space to make the head and body UVs larger and therefore add more detail (there's no point having a lot of space, make every part of the UV as big as can fit as the bigger it is, the more detail can be put in the skin)

I've never been a fan of that kind of leg UV, since it means the inside of the leg has to be exactly the same as the outside, whereas often I want to make the inside of the leg a lighter colour or something.

I normally separate the arms and legs from the body entirely to be honest, because I trust my skills to be able to make sure there's no seams and cutting them off means that I can make the UVs larger (since they're less likely to go outside the box) but if you don't feel that you could do that then this UV is okay (although I would recommend looking at how DM does his leg UVs if you're insistent on leaving the arms and legs on the body UV, since I more or less use the same method but separate the arms and legs UV)

Quite often if I have an animal with a long tail or long neck, I rotate the body UV 45 degrees ACW so that the head is in one corner, and the tail is in the opposite corner, because the hypotenuse of a triangle is always the longest side, so I can make the body UV larger that way (and therefore be able to add more detail)

i myself is not that good of a skinner so i actually don't " trust my skills to be able to make sure there's no seams" :P . i'll take those advises for granted. thanks.

so here's a new update for you folks, first animal of part 2:

PARAPHYSORNIS

rigged to elephant birds anim.

also i realized i haven't specifically stated which part one takes credits for. the skin of the embolotherium, uintatheium and paraphysornis were made by Tyranachu. for the dinocrocuta, meshed by Philly as you already know, Tyranachu also adjusted the skin. the embolotherium coded by Velociraptor. this pack is more like a team project now since i asked for helps too much xD

If you're afraid of seams, use the Blender texture paint mode with the clone tool to remove them ;)

@DM: i have heard of the texture paint mode, but i have never try it out yet.
@philly: the skin was made by Tyranachu, all credits goes to him.

MAGNIFICENT WORK!!! Though I do agree with OS, and the mammoths tusks look very peculiar.

Hey OP, I was wondering. As I can see, you have a fascination for the Saurosuchus. Have you or are you planning to make it for ZT2?

well even if i do it wouldn't have anything to do with this pack, wouldn't it? unless there is a Rauisuchia that lived after the dinosaur era which i'm not aware of.
i can, however, make 1 of it's descendants :) :
