Siemaschko Foundation Siemaschko Foundation is an organisation of zoos.It started during Gorbachev rule of the Soviet Union. It's aim was to educate more the citizens on the wildlife of the region an other places on earth. Many zoo where built in many of these countries.They used to be all government owned but after the fall of the Soviet Union they where bought by local millionaires , some of them improved the facility of the zoos while others just abandoned it. The foundation came to action again in 1994 where there was a world wide criticism from nature group about the conditions of these zoo. The foundation managed to take the zoos back in there hand and started a project to upgrade the zoos , however certain zoos like the one in Kazakhstan has to be re-build because of the reason that it was more worth it than upgrading it. Now a days nearly 10 years later these zoos has been transformed into a world class zoos that attracts millions of visitors every year.  Baku Animal Garden This zoo was originally build in 1986 , in Baku Azerbaijan. It's conditions where one of the best until the fall of the Soviet Union. It was abandoned soon after until a local millionaire bought it , however this had fallen to the wrong hands again , the situation of the animals as very disturbing , many of the where very sick that when the foundation was founded again most of the animals had to been put to sleep because of this. So far work has stopped to due issues with the Azerbaijani government ... it's not sure if it would be viable for the country to build a world class zoo which could cost millions of dollars which can be used for other things. We hope they shall let us continue with the park . |

After days of discussion with the government we managed to convince him that this is for the good of the country.So work started immediately. |
