As some of you may remember, the WWD pack was my first proper project for ZT2, way back in the golden days of ZTV. The plan was to make all animals featured in the epic documentary from 1999 (and it's still the best dinosaur documentary). Designing was much more restricted back then, and I eventually stopped because I couldn't fix certain bugs like no-placement or blinking. Now a lot of time has passed, 14 years since WWD first aired and 5 or 6 years since I started the projected, and designing has come a long way. So much new stuff is possible now so I thought I could give it a shot and revive this. Some reconstructions in WWD are partly outdated today, such as the theropod hands, bald raptors or some sizes. But that is what's to be expected in science, progress and outdated reconstructions are key elements to palaeontology. Yet to me, the WWD creatures are all very plausible and look lifelike, and that is what matters. I'm basing on that and fixing the key failures, while keeping the general concept of WWD. So, the first animal: Coelophysis I did some slight changes to the shape based on Gregory Paul's skeletal reconstruction, mainly the hands and some proportions. The result is a coelophysis which is anatomically accurate and at the current standard of palaeontology combined with the nostalgic flair of Walking With Dinosaurs. It kinda feels like restaurating an old painting   So I hope you enjoy this! There'll be more to come, however I don't know how much

So good to having you here Hendrix. I admire and love all of your projects. This pack is really promising and i like your idea about being accurate with the reconstractions but at the same time using a look similar to WWD. I also loved that documentary, and yes it is still one of my favorites. The Coelophysis look amazing so far. Can't wait to se the other animals in this pack. Great job! |

I really don't know how much I can or want to make. I just do the things I find interesting and inspiring, and so I will continue as long as I have time for it.

Epic work DM!!! Good to have this back. Will there be PP or WWB? (I'd love to see a triceratops and torosaurus with quills) And I agree with Sam, land of giants and giant claw would be epic. Also is this a collab with ZTABC?
