Is this (primaries emerging parallel from all over the 2nd finger) or the one with primaries spreading radially representation correct?

Primaries should appear on 2nd finger, all over its' length.

These restorations you linked to have a little bit not enough feathers over the body, it appearing very short, almost glued to the animal. I made my first raptor model like this and it didn't look much like it had feathers growing on it :P

@Crocodile - nope,we'll continue with this anyway.

Na that was just to get across the thing with the primaries. :P Don't worry it'll have real plumage ;)

Did the WWD raptor even have feathers? Or are we talking about another dinosaur? O_o

There'll be no foot-walking! Just air-flying!

I'm going to state the obvious, for about the 15th time so far, DM is making the WWD dinosaurs, but with a realistic approach, aka, including the most recent findings :P

So of course his version is going to be feathered, as we know from direct evidence that Velociraptor had feathers. ;)

It wasn't meant to offend you in anyway, believe me, but it was repeated rather often in this topic. :p But don't worry, not everyone has the time to skim through a big topic like this one :)

@Robbie: There are Jurassic Park raptors available on several sites, perhaps you can use that one ? :)

all the dinosaurs released so far don't have feathers (including some which most likely had), so i don't see your point.

So, got the model done, here's kind of a concept for the alphas. As you can see it's quite fluffy and has many traits of bird anatomy, such as the hidden upper legs and S-curve of the neck (might make that even stronger) and the feathers running onto the foot.

It looks great, but the head and neck seem a bit weird to me.

Overall the model looks pretty good, but I think you put the eyes too high. IIRC they are in one line with the snout, not above the snout.
