I still think that the eye looks to small, but i can see the improvement in the skin. Nice job!

Love the raptor Hendrix, the way you used the green, never heard of a raptor being green but I love it :worship:

IMO the skin still looks off. My main issue is that the skin and feathers are the same color. There isn't enough contrast between the individual feathers as well, so it all kind of blends together and the wonderful texture is lost. The small eye has already been mentioned

Maybe spice it up with some colors/patterns from the new WWD velociraptor?http://www.walkingwithdinosaurs.com/dinosaurs/detail/velociraptor

As I've mentioned, that raptor was simply used as a promo image, it won't actually be appearing in the WWD film! :P

Yeah, I don't really have a say in this, because I just woke up, but I think this discussion is kinda silly. UT2's downloads have the theropods in the completely wrong upwards head position, but they're still considered to be extremely valuable downloads and UT2 is praised for them. So why can't a completely accurate velociraptor made by the master of designing himself have a little speculative green coloring? :P
EDIT BECAUSE POSTING THREE TIMES IN ONE TOPIC IS RUDE: @Jannick: The general consensus is that pack hunting is possible, but doesn't have a lot of evidence behind it and isn't as likely as people once thought.
Apparently you have no clue on how rigging works, if i didn't, their heads would be point straight down ingame, now next time you "think" you know something do a bit of research first.

Anyways, nice job o the Velociraptor Dm, keep up the good work.

I realize now that this comment is probably the worst thing I've written on this entire site. It was rude, poorly thought-out, and in general I probably should have stopped at "I think this discussion is kinda silly", instead of rambling on and being a (4-letter word that describes fecal matter here)head. To everyone I offended with this comment, I apologize. I didn't mean to offend anyone and was just rambling on when I made it. This comment is extremely stupid and deserves every vague "Doesn't understand" it gets. I'm probably lucky that i didn't get someone complaining to me about the edit I made as well, though that's the least offensive part of this stupid comment.
ON-TOPIC: I don't really have much to say about the raptor, other than it looks nice, except for the eye, which is bugging me enormously as well as the Theri's eye.

Umm, I didn't say "the velociraptor from the new movie," I said "the new WWD Velociraptor." BBC/WWD designed it so it's their property and is therefore a WWD raptor.

No, it's not designed by WWD/BBC. WWD/BBC used Dinorauls models to showcase those dinosaurs, but they aren't their property, and as they're not part of the WWD franchise ( movie, documentary, spinoffs), they aren't considered to be WWD cannon :)

Do you consider the Walking with Dinosaurs: Inside their World app a spinoff? The velociraptor I linked to was the one featured in that app, so it is part of the franchise. Whether it is cannon or not I don't really know. But that's beside the point, I was simply suggesting using colors or design elements from that Velo to help improve the one HENDRIX has made.

That new velo is not WWD (yes it's by dinoraul), not even the movie is WWD, it shares nothing but the name. It's bullshit :/

I gotta say, even with the debate of carnivores being green, I really like the Velociraptor. I know dull colored predators are more accurate, but I do like variation in color and not just different shades of brown or black.

I doesn't matter what colour the velociraptor is, because I will love it no matter what!

In any case, that raptor definitely wasn't made specifically for WWD. How do I know, because I used to HAVE that raptor model for a rendering program I had. It's by DinoRaul and has nothing to do with the WWD franchise. But anyway, back on topic. Let's just stop complaining about the green, it looks fantastic anyway. Great job, HENDRIX, all your work is incredible! ;)
