Actually quetz & azdarcho are different, the azdarcho model is more accurate to the real animal, even if still not quite true to it. It shall be Othnielia, as it has more of a central role & an official fact file.

I agree, we should let him finish something ( Which is already very time taking ) before throwing suggestions .....

It's no matter of figuring out, more a matter of doing annoyingly dull export & conversion work again. Especially since it's about 30 anims. Actually making sure the export works again should be relatively easy, as I have backups of the rig among which should be some functional ones. |

Like I said, the original BF rex had over 140. ![]() But a complete set for a usermade animal is nothing to sneeze at. Obviously in most cases, the modding community doesn't have resources anywhere near as expansive as the game developers, so any creation with a complete, custom animation set is quite an achievement. |

Agreed, well it's good to have you back VG and I agree with everyone else. Now it's just a matter of time good luck on upgrading the new version of the animations Hendrix.
OS, they used an Othnielia which wasn't even mentioned until Big Al. Also it wasn't even recolored. Edited by davidy12, Feb 17 2014, 09:32 PM.

Good news, I've found a working node set backup (the very first one, luckily I didn't overwrite it )! And, I've simplified the conversion progress by modifying the blender kf export script so I don't have to edit the anims in nifskope or HEX anymore. Much more convenient now.

I'm not sure what you're saying, how would they have used an Othnielia model and skin from a spinoff for an animal in the main documentary that was released before the spinoff? The Othnielia was made from the Thescelosaurus/Parksosaurus, not the other way round (and the Thescelo/Parkso was a recoloured Leaellynasaura model iirc)I don't understand that last part, they definitely changed the colours from the Leaellyn to make the Parkso, they're not the same in the slightest. Anyway, this is irrelevant. DM has said he's not making the Parksosaurus and will include Othnielia (I assume renamed to Othnielosaurus?) |

Great news, the process of converting anims is completely automatic now!! No more manual time adjustments!! I've read some python doc and got the end value from another function into the text key export function by making it a global variable, and it works like a charm I'll upload my edited nifscripts when the tutorial section is back.

@OS: Sorry I didn't know that, I was just saying the Othnielia and Thescelosaurus are the same (Model and skinwise in the documentary) Anyways, that's great news to hear DM (not sure if it means they're converted but good news nonetheless). Maybe it will (not asking for it but just saying as a compliment) be finished before this month is over. Also this method will be really useful to designers sir.
