Is it just me, or it also looks like the hand claws have disappeared in the second pic ?

And congratulations on this.

This project is fantastic, I grew up on WWD so I find this amazing. DM is doing a stupendous job here. I just want to point out that I find some of the animations for Plateosaurus and the Macrogryphosaurus they seem to flighty, in my opinion, (also the scratching and kick-fighting is bizarre) I understand there may be no time or need to change this, I just wanted to put it out there! :)

Ok so with me knowing some python now, I'll try to write a script that allows me to get animation data from blender 2.5+ into our good old 2.49b via a simple custom format. So and that could be used to finally create a proper snake, with the 2.5 spline IK. Maybe that'll produce a Dinilysia, we'll see.

I've said this before at ZTABC, but I don't think I got a reply, but the Pteranodon and Rhamphorhynchus don't appear to breed. Will this be fixed or does it take an extremely long time for them to breed?

It's probably a bug, I'll look into it...

Ha, just discovered that you can use motion capture to get anims back into 2.49b. And it's even built-in :D So a good snake anim is only a good rig and some animations away ;)

I applaud you! I hope this isn't pestering, but is the bird animations still a priority or are you focused on WWD at the moment?

1st: Great news Hendrix, also I can see a snake animation used in WWD (in ep6 there was a snake (Dinilysia live acted by red tailed boa) being harassed by the baby rexes). 2nd: (no offense Dark Phoenix) but what are madsoa?

So I've got my snake rig set up nicely, the snake crawls along any path I give it as a curve. And I did a quick pyhon model, just have to skin it... I've got 42 spine bones, each controlling one ring of the mesh, that allows for good enough curving. I might subdivide the whole thing once more to make it really smooth... we'll see...
