It is vertical, but sort of wanting to be horizontal, as seen here

AFAIK that's how sauropod necks looked in real life. Depictions of brachiosaurs with S-shaped, swan-like necks are, to my knowledge, inaccurate.

maybe not overly swan-shaped, but held slightly higher than that in the screencap. An article by Naish on the subject here: http://scienceblogs.com/tetrapodzoology/2009/05/27/sauropods-held-necks-erect/

Also as a friendly reminder, I'm not asking for it to be accurate, I'm simply curious if it's going to be like in WWD or upgraded to the current view, as it's not so simple to conclude in which category it woukd fall for DM's taste

@dilophoraptor: pretty much that

You don't have to believe everything just because Darren Naish says so. ;P Comparative anatomy only gets you to a certain point, and whether your inferences from that are right or wrong is up to each mind to decide. ;)

I'm actually thinking about giving the Argentino the Diplo anims, simply because I prefer the WWD look. We'll see...

And that brachiosaurus, I think the almost vertical JP pose you posted is not really up-to-date ;)

I support the Argentino with Diplo anims, mostly because it moves like a genuinely huge thing and it's quite distressing that he makes no sound when walking, but that's just a detail ;)

Brontosaurus (Apatosaurus) will become a subsidiary of animals?

These two show that argentino's neck was thinner than the head + the legs are longer

DM decided to use an actual skeleton to base the model off Dinoruler65, so the neck and head are correct ;)

I just want to point out that the Apato in Big Al was just the diplodocus without spines and with a green skin.
Edit: @Dinoruler, DM made the Argentino to look like that (The way it is in the pack). Take a look at these pics that I found especially the 2nd one.
http://paleo-king.deviantart.com/art/Argentinosaurus-huinculensis-182796645
http://tyrannosue.deviantart.com/art/Argentinosaurus-202944751

Edit2: While I do agree the Argentino would look better with diplo animations, Argentinosaurs (I think) like all titanosaurs didn't have whip like tails. Also, the neck would be low to the ground.
