Tyranachu's version was pretty good as well.
Lol, my version was shot right out of the sky by that masterpiece. xD

Awesome job HENDRIX! It's amazing what you can do with a few reference pics. :D
His is more realistic but yours is more colorful. They're both gorgeous bro. 😊

My apologies but this appears pretty rude since he has worked hard on all the other cool stuff.

Hendrix the animals are amazing. I may even go as far as to say that they look better than those in the original program. The community should/is thankful for having a person like you still designing.

This is overwhelming, it's amazing. My only little nag is if you could maybe make the dinosaurs bigger? They're quite small, and something inside of me is chewing and saying "BIGGER!"

But still, good work! Can't wait to see the Trex

No offence, but honestly TDP
practice what you preach

Anyhow, all this progress is awesome DM, and I'm looking forward to all these new features especially! The tree-bending was a really good idea! :D

The dinosaurs are all accurately sized in the released versions. In the previews I have shown, the diplo was a bit small but it's 27m long now.

Now this may come as a disappointing surprise to some of you, but those who know my activity patterns will have already expected it: Such immense productivity can't last long, because I have a lot of other things to do as well. It's nice to indulge in some designing for a week to cool down from exams but that can't continue for long.

I've got one more exam next week, have to collect and research material for 2 1/2 term papers and then I'm going to Norway for 3 weeks, once again. Don't expect any activity after that either, as those term papers have to be finished by October and I don't know how much I can get done without access to the library. I'll also have an internship from September to December, but I really don't know how much work that will be - to be safe, I'll just assume a lot. So don't expect any new creatures until at least Christmas.

I'll try to release the "Time of Titans" animals I have made so far, as they're all more or less finished; I'm already having people test them. Perhaps I'll rig and code that Cymbospondylus too. No updates on "Death of a Dynasty" or "Giant Claw" I'm afraid; those are just one big mess and I'd have to analyze first what has to be changed for every animal, and I don't have the time for that.

@OS: Totally owned that one, man! :D

Not in pike territory this year, only at sea. The east was too cold for my taste; I don't like fishing when my line freezes in August. :P But I will certainly take pics again ;)

The exam is not much of a problem, term papers are much, much more annoying... xD

Don't worry about it DM, Uni does it to us all - at least you're keeping in mind where your priorities lie, I'm not always as well managed...

If I do manage to get around to releasing some of my old stuff though, would you mind if I released a patch for some of your animals to make use of it?

Damn, was hoping nobody remembered. Didn't even myself until I saw your Diplo and it reminded me, that episode was the original inspiration for the biome. It'd still be a long way off at any rate, but figured I'd ask while you're here.
