I thought Predator X was the pliosaur closest in size to the WWD Liopleurodon. But then again, I'm a bit behind on marine reptile paleontology.

Amazing DM!!! Glad you were able to recode everything. This I bet you'll have everything finished before this week is over.

It is quite possible that the liopleurodon & giant pliosaurs are simply exceptional individuals. Modern saltwater crocodiles generally only get around 17ft at most, although there was one shot in the Bay of Bengal in 1840 that was 33ft long. Pliosaurus macromerus, a species originally assigned to liopleurodon, had a nine foot jaw. Reptiles grow their entire lives, & if the remains in the Kimmeridge Clay are indeed liopleurodon then a 80ft liopleurodon is quite possible. Of course, this is all speculation on my part.

That's a pretty optimistic guess, maybe I'll just have it tested for some weeks, and I know who will not test it.

Yeah that's pretty plausible, it's not a debate whether there were that large plios (there were, for fact), but whether Lio could also get that large. Predator X is actually more recent AFAIK. ;)

argh, I just noticed just how bad the shark anims really are, I'll rig and code the ophthalmo and hybodus to remora anims tomorrow...

You could always do the old individual coding, like with the paranoia megaconda, were it gets bigger as it gets older

Can't believe I missed the Lio :) It's gorgeous, and it draws blood from its prey!
I have a question about the turning animation: does the body bend & flippers being tilted in desired side, or not?

I miss my Zoo Tycoon 2.

If I had it. It would have been a honor to use your work in a zoo.

Problem is, unless you plan on coding them to, remora anims make it so the animal cannot breed.

IIRC most of DM's coding is custom so I don't think that will be a problem. ;)
