Great work, Hendrix, I am really looking forward, not only for this pack, but also for what other designers do with all the stuff you made...

But I got one little constructive - at least I hope so - critique:
Though I have waited for a ammonite quite some time now and I am looking forward getting my hands on yours, I cant' loose the feeling of looking at a squid put in a ammonite fossil, when I see the picture of it. The shell simply looks too much like fossil/rock and not so much like shell - I think its the texture causing this.
Well, the shell looks pretty much like in the episode, color- and texturewise. The body is totally speculative, so I went for something kinda close to a squid instead of a nautilus-like reconstruction which I read to be outdated.
I did not have any problem with the skin of the "squid"; in fact I thought the deep red was kinda good-looking, but the new skin looks even better :) . The thing that kinda bugged me was only the fossil-like look of the shell.

But you are right, it's exactly the way it looked in the show, and in the end, we all have our own image of extinct animals in our minds. So thanks again for your amazing work.

If I make the head the slightest bit larger, I can't hide it in the shell anymore because scaling is not supported in BFs AFAIK.

Actually, while I've yet to test an animation that uses scaling, I'm fairly certain that it's supported. I even set up the prototype converter to handle scales, though the way in which the .bf files makes use of them is extremely limiting. Scale data is stored in a single byte, with the scale value of 1 in the model corresponding with the number 50 in the .bf, so extremely precise scale is impossible to achieve. I'm also uncertain if the byte is signed or unsigned, since I've yet to apply it to anything ingame yet.

Scaling is possible, but the game won't be able to handle any values more precise than 0.02, and even then it's subject to minor rounding errors.

It indeed looks amazing Hendrix (: I love these, I actually watched WWD when I was younger because I think it came on Discovery Kids, probably most of what I know from dinos is from that show so these are great to me.

Yet another masterpiece from the amazing HENDRIX! But one question, will it be able to swim like the one in the show?
