Fluffy I'm in York county. Some counties have them, some don't :p

Seather it depends on what state you live in. This one is an Eastern, but its possible you could be finding different species.

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

I'm in Indiana. Sorry I forgot to specify. :P

I see a lot of them that are obviously Easterns, but the ones with the brighter colors I wasn't sure whether they were other species or just morphs. They're very pretty.

Rat snake is love... Rat snake is life

I could find reptiles a lot too, if I dare to seek for them....

Here what we will surely find if seeking in a grove forest next to my house.

- Some species of the terrifying Green Tree Vipers. One bite and it is too painful to just take one step away from that area.
- Water Moniter, a kind of rascal that will charge at you and slash, slash and slash if being frigntened. Especially, when you corner one. They sometimes drag some cute kittens to dine.
- Some ground Pit Vipers, even more painful and dangerous than their arboreal relative.
- Vine snakes, not so dangerous.... But will bite you for sure if you touch them.
- Radiated ratsnake, will show their aggression first by bloating their neck. Their attack is very fast and can attack from very far range, it take some blood as well.
- Indochinese rat snake, quite more peaceful that the radiated. Unfortunately, they taste quite well, so many of them are caught just to become a bowl of soup....
- Tokay Gecko, this one bites like a pit bull.....
- Some skinks, make you die from their cuteness.... XD
- Burmese Python and Reticulated Python, do I need to say why....? I have seen a 4 metres long once.
- Some kraits. DON'T EVER touch them! They are considered the most terrifying venomous snakes in my area!!!
- Sadly(?), we don't have spitting cobras here in Bangkok....

Because of those, we don't do much herping in Thailand.

Btw, nice snake! Is it gonna shred? Its eyes are so blur...

Yepp its in shed. The area you live in sounds like heaven to me D:

Speaking of radiated rat snakes, here's one I had a few months ago. Ended up trading it for an amazon tree boa.

Wow! that radiated looked so calm. None of them here will ever let the camera get to that close, even the captive one. You must took it a very good care!

Unfortunately this isn't my animal, but here's an Aldabra tortoise I had the pleasure of meeting a few years ago. I WILL own a herd of these someday.
