![]() Out of all the snakes I've had, I miss these guys the most. Adult male yellow anaconda - around 8-9 ft and baby female yellow anaconda. Parents made me get rid of the adult when my brother was born, and I made the decision out of the blue one day to trade the female for my alligator that I have today. We paid 100 dollars for the pair and a huge cage, and I'll never be able to even get a baby for that price after they banned them from crossing state lines :/. I see babies now a days for twice what I payed for both of them! |

That's a beautiful snake. It's a shame you had to get rid of them. |

From what I know, anacondas are not cannibal, so it might be possible to keep the 2 together. And so bad that you gotta get rid of them. They are really beautiful. |

Yepp you can keep them together, I just separated them anyway. I actually had the female in a half land/half water setup until I started having mold problems. |

Woohoo! I've got some awesome news. This week I will be receiving a permit which will allow me to keep a state protected animal, the Eastern Hognose Snake. I'll hopefully also be receiving 1, if not a pair of them next week. Pics when they get here

Great news! ![]() Anyway, I see that you're quite an expert on reptiles. Can you examine my leopard gecko, Potato, to see what morph he is? And, is he a little thin? I tried giving him a few waxworms, but I feared that if I fed him too much, he'll get addicted. (And yes he's got all 5 toes on each foot, and I'm using paper towel as a substitute until my reptile Carpet gets all cleaned up) and yes there's plenty of water in that dish.... Spoiler: click to toggle And he looks like he's about to shed. Edited by Fluffs, Jul 22 2013, 08:07 PM.
