Deep Thoughts With Farkle

Hello!

Well, I think about everyone ever in the universe had one of these except me, so I thought I might as well make one. I will attempt not to turn this into a sea of angry rants, but no promises. Also if you want to ask me any questions, you can do that here.

Firstly, a bit about me, as I don't think many people know me. I'm fourteen years old and live in Ohio (U.S.) I first got interested in ZT2 when my sister got it as a birthday present when she was about seven. I ended up playing it more than her. I first discovered downloads at Zoo Tycoon Unleashed, where I had an account but literally never did anything. I found NS second, where I was mostly just a lurker. I also discovered Zeta-Designs at this time and that's what really got me into zoo building. From there, I found Gaia, and I was actually a bit more active there for a few months. My interest in ZT2 faded, and with it went my interest in Gaia, and I didn't do anything in the community for a long time. Then, one day I got really bored and started playing ZT2 again. I got back on Gaia and was only there for about a week or so before I discovered The Round Table. I am much more active here than I ever was at Gaia, and I really love this site!

Anyway, ask questions and stuff, I'd love to get to know some of you!

Well, it's your choice eventually. I usually feel like the more open an RP is the better is and the more people it attracts. However, I usually dislike ones which have animal/human choices, as the players don't get to interact as much. I like it when they are specified in one specific species/race.

As with Sheather, I cannot think of a meaningful question... sooo
What do you want to do as a career later on in life? Also, Chocolate or Vanilla?

Well, for my career, I've had a lot of different ideas. It would be great to work in a zoo, of course, but I would also love to be an author, or an artist, or own a cafe, or... you get the idea.

CHOCOLATE. MOST CERTAINLY CHOCOLATE.

What if it was full of worms?

Ummm... not so much. Though if I was a bird or other worm-eating creature, I'd probably like it.

So today I woke up at eight o'clock in the morning and was still really tired, so I layed in my room kind of half asleep until I decided I should get up. No one else was awake but the lights were on and the back door was open. I got a little nervous and started looking around the house. When I went downstairs, I saw an eerie figure standing in the shadows.

It was the vacuum.

Then I remembered that my mom got up early to go to work, and probably left the door open so that the cat wouldn't wake us up if he wanted inside or wanted to go out.

That was the scariest story I have ever heard. Ever.

I am shaking in my shoes.

I asked Danny this, and he responded. Now, I bestow this question upon you.

Are you a bleh?

Okay you know I just want to say a few things. If you're in a good mood and don't feel like listening to me rant and be sad, I suggest you don't read this.

I am not feeling good right now.

Sometimes I like to just explore the forum a bit as I am rather new, so I like to be informed and know what's going on. Today I decided to have a look at the departures and homecomings topic.

I feel bad because I never got to know people that are gone now. And I wish I had, because they seem like genuinely good people that were worth having in my life. Whenever I see those creepy yet cool eyes in Josh's banner, or Susan's little shark, or CRG's... message, I feel like crap, because I was ignorant and really chose to ignore this site and most parts of the community that weren't Show and Tells or downloads. I just sat on Gaia and was a lurker. And then a bunch of people left. Susan announced that she was leaving in her blog on the 13th of June. I joined TRT on the 20th. And that just kinda depresses me.

Sorry for being all mopey and sad.

I know how you feel, man. I only joined the community late 2011, amd there was just a lot of ruckus and drama going on since. A lot of great people have left, some because they'd had enough of it, while some just because they outgrew it. I miss a lot of people for sure, though. It's always nice to meet new people though. Members may come and go, but the community feel isn't just fueled by them, but from new members who continue to add to the community.
