I am the worst person at public speaking (apart from in Japanese and Mandarin). I got the lowest in my class in my English oral by quite a long way! xD
But you live in United Kingdom ! Well when the English invaded India, they were the one who taught us English ! And also I get not less than 97 % in English in the school. :D

Yeah, but English class in the UK is basically more describing how you feel about Poetry rather than learning the language or anything really useful

Oooh ! I didn't knew that. Actually in India, we are literally TORTURED to learn english !! :whack: :whack:

Some people faint , some vomit, and some run away from the hall in front of everybody during the exams !!!!
And also since i live in West Bengal, in Bengali, we are also taught to describe your or the poet's feeling in the poem.

Public speaking has nothing to do with how good you are at speaking a certain language. Well... Okay it has the tiniest bit... But most of what you communicate in public speaking is your body language. Even then, you could still be good at public speaking and English, yet still scared of it :P

i agree with you. Also improvement in linguistics makes you confident enough for public speaking. :D

I'm quite afraid of injuring myself horribly, such as breaking a bone. You never know what might happen. I'm also afraid of getting a terrible illness.

Always found I'm really good at public speaking except when it's really important, so I can do it fine most of the time, but in an exam I fall apart D:

@Orcadolphin I can understand that, ever since I gashed my finger open I've had a terrible fear of doing the same and won't touch knives most of the time.

I'm scared one day the chickens will get revenge on me for all their kin I've eaten.

And finally I'm scared of a bunch of creepypasta I've read recently, seriously regretting looking up two in particular which I won't name since that might cause other people to go read them and get traumatized too

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

Oh gosh, metal cans.

I once deeply cut my finger on a soup can. I am really nervous around opening or handling them now.

I am not good at speaking in public in Dutch (not so much that I'd call it being afraid of it), which is weird because it's my native language. I am decent in it in English and French (if prepared lol).

I'm mildly scared of petting cats. You never know when they'll take the opportunity to attack your hand.
