For me the most inspiring zoo builder is Unicorn! Her zoos are always a good inspiration for me. She has thought of everything and it always fits perfectly together! |

Some of the builders that have inspired me the most are Danny, Jasper, Rhino Rhangler, Umpaloompa, and Tom. All of them are incredibly talented, and I still look at their old zoos for inspiration from time to time.

I don't know why this was closed. Anyway i have people that i should add to my list: Okapia: i absolutly adore your style. Your use of rocks and ground elevations is awesome and i'm always a fan of zoos that focus on the naturalistic looks of their exhibtis. fridooh: the atmosphere you create to your zoos is wonderfull. I love your building set combinations and the foliage combinations for the sourrandings. Your exhibits are also beautiful, matching perfectly the feel of the zoo. AnYe: what to say? Hiperrealistic style. You really have a talent to combine textures, colors and foliage. You haven't shown much, but what you have shown had blown my mind. Amazing job Ursek: modern yet natural; that is how i would describe your style. You also have a great talent to combine some cool architecture with a perfect foliage combination You know how to manage perspective, ground levels and shot frames to create the perfect picture. Kohana: i already mentioned you before i believe but your style has changed lately and i absolutly love it. Your zoos not only inspired me to build but also to play because you know how to perfectly combine full functional exhibits with the right aesthetics. Also, you are one of the few zoobuilders here that are not afraid of change and trying new things. A lot of the zoos we see from the same people used to follow always the same style, like they don't go out of their comfort zone and that end up being pretty boring after a while. But you are not afraid of trying new things and you are constantly rebuilding to change your style until you are satisfied with it. Edited by Ignacio, Nov 29 2014, 02:21 PM.

Simple list cause it's a list of one: Mr. Weasel. He's the person that actually inspired me to join the community in the first place, and even his much older stuff is still perfect in my eyes. Of course I enjoy the works of mi hermano Umpa, as well as stuff from Kohana, RR, Tom, and Ursek. Oh I couldn't even comprehend the possible complexity of a zoo without Dark Tiger's Glasgow, either! I appreciate being on so many people's lists! Thank you everyone ![]() Pretty much everyone inspires me in some form or another, even if the building isn't the greatest, it helps me spawn so many new ideas to see what other people have done. Currently some big influences are Sipmark, Zebrasorus, Ursek, markun, Jannick |

Personally I think this is all a thread of favoritism, but whatever, it's only positive ![]() Anyways, my biggest inspirations throughout the years are, without any doubt, Markun, Mr.Weasel and ZooLeopard. I'm always excited to see anything these guys make. Other very notable mentions, that I always love seeing builds of, are Fireplume, Jorrit, Kevin, Jannick and Umpaloompa. They have very variable styles, so every topic of theirs I open up is a whole new surprise, and one that gives me many ideas on how I could finish an exhibit of my own. Other then that, pretty much everyone who ever shows anything inspires me, inspiration isn't something that comes from certain people, it's the combination of different sources that make things interesting. |

Raymond, Jannick, Kohana, JowJonas, Nils, Jasper, Bigseal, Ursek, Zebrasorus, Mr.Weasel, they all have their own style and it makes them all unique, I love their works, they make me want to build more things! and I think posts from others in my topics inspire me, they make me want to build more zoos! (there are more but these were the ones I thought about now) Edited by Wes, Dec 7 2014, 03:53 AM.
