In Zoos Type of Exhibit: These small Primates can be kept in a Outdoor/Indoor Aviary or Island (pending on climate of zoo). These small monkeys need some kind of climbing structures such as wood planks to trees connected with ropes and bridges. They should be kept between the 70 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Plants are not a necessity but they would better off with them. Temperament:These Small monkeys are generally peaceful and can be kept with other species such as other Tamarins, Sloths, Marmosets,Tarumandas, Saki and many peaceful bird species, thought they have also been kept with Green Iguana Diet:These monkeys should be fed a combination of Fruits, Vegetables, Mice, Grubs and Crickets Social Needs:These monkeys should be kept in groups up to 15 but only one family group because they are Strongly territorial toward other Emperor Tamarins Extra Information:
