Guys, my only problem now is that when it is mature it was raised by a human not a mother bird. It won't know how to live on it's own. They say they're not pets either. :( I guess it has to die either way. :'( :'( :'( :'(

Then go ahead and take it outside and put it down somewhere in the bushes? Something will come along to finish it off...

I don't know. I can't tell the future. I just want it to live its whole entire life. Happily and safely. All I need, is when it grows up, it knows how to hunt, find water, and be safe.

If you bird could survive until the age of fletchling, you can still teach it to live in the wild. All to do is feeding them with live worms and insects, take it outside with super-eyes on it. I have known many hand-raised passerine birds that can easily live on their own in the wild. Everything will be even much easier if that is colony birds and you have large flock of them nearby, the chicks will eventually join the flock driven by its wild instinct.

However, if this is something like quail, crane, wild geese or anything that do imprinting. Everything will be different.

I think it might die in a few hours or so. I need to ask my mom to make some baby bird rescue food. :|

You also need to warm it as well. Bird that age can't really control their body's temperature. Maybe using desk lamp? But beware about the overheating too.

My mom just fed it. It only opened it mouth once. I will get it later if its hungry. She also put paper towels/napkins to keep it warm. Its head was in an awkward position also. Still alive. Just stay alive.

The postion is probably not serious :P and yes as long as a baby bird has its mouth open its hungry, if it Closes its fed.
