Some lineages even grow secondary vaginas where they get stabbed, linked to the primary one Which means they sometimes have a vagina on the head. These act as targets so the male can stab precisely there, and less sperm is destroyed by the lymphocytes. Males can also grow secondary vaginas and sometimes the bugs can even be born with it. |

Nope, it also sucks your blood when you sleep. And for clarification, here is a pic of a male's genitals.

It is actually called traumatic insemination. Really quite horrifying. I'm glad humans don't reproduce like that, I imagine the girl wouldn't enjoy that at all. Also, in case that isn't horrifying enough, the male rapes the female (bed bugs are actually an exception to this rule, the female is passive during mating, but in most other species the female will actively resist) to preform this gruesome procedure. Not even the Great Marquis de Sade could have though up something like this. Edited by MarxRaptor, Nov 15 2013, 05:47 PM.

LALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALA @Marx: I think the girl wouldn't like it at all. I mean, they stab them with their penis...so hard it can get through their shells. I'm pretty sure that's not very...amusing. And that frog is awesome! It has...hair? |

Not real fur: (from wikipedia) Breeding males also develop – somewhat hair-like – dermal papillae that extend along the flanks and thighs. These contain arteries and are thought to increase the surface for the purpose of absorbing oxygen (comparably to external gills of the aquatic stage), which is useful as the male stays with his eggs for an extended period of time after they have been laid in the water by the female. this frog has got one more unusual thing: Retractable claws ![]() ![]() http://runningponies.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/f1-large1.jpg When the frog is grabbed or attacked the frog broke their toe bones, which tears through the skin. This behavior is unique in the animal world, and scientists have not yet figured out. Edited by Rudyn, Nov 15 2013, 06:51 PM.

Once, my cat stole and ate a magpie hatchling from the nest. The parents didn't let her go outside for a few days. The moment she was outside, they would drop their actions and relentlessly attack her. Not sure how did they sustain themselves, considering they spent almost a week sitting on the chestnut tree in our yard and camping for the cat. |

Nothing is scarier than the heart-broken parents. A pair of starlings living near my house just lost their chicks to squirrel and they has been very grumpy for a few day after that. Around that day, they attacked some passing doves and sparrows who didn't even involve in their chicks's death. |
