We found several of these guys in our garden today. Does anyone know what kind of caterpillar these are and/or what kind of butterfly they'll become? A few appear to be building cocoons on our tomato plants.![]() Photo taken by Andy <3 Nevermind, we ID'd it. It's a Manduca sexta, a Tobacco Hornworm (with seven diagonal stripes), which becomes a Carolina Sphinx Moth. Some are infested with wasp eggs so... I might go kill me some wasp babies.
