I wasn't sure if I should put this in the Sports & Media section or here, but I chose here since people probably wouldn't think to look for animal related stuff in the Sports & Media section. For this thread I'll regularly post exceptionally beautiful/amazing wildlife videos that I come across on YouTube. I've found a lot and I'd love to share them with you all. I'll post one video per day until I run out of good videos, and then I'll just post them as often as possible. Perhaps this could be pinned? This first one is called Beautiful World - Africa. The music really touches the soul, and the footage is breathtaking. At least, I think so. ![]() Edited by TheZooTycooner14, Aug 29 2013, 02:53 PM.

Chali, you should listen to it as soon as you can. It really makes the video IMO. ![]() I'm posting this one a little early in the day because I'm getting ready to pack up my PC and head up north to College, but in the future I'll try to post it around mid-day or later, just to space it out evenly. ![]() This one is simply called Big Mule Deer Bucks. Really beautiful creatures, and all shooters if you're a hunter. Edited by TheZooTycooner14, Aug 30 2013, 09:10 AM.

Here's one of the most spectacular scenes in nature I've ever seen. It's an extremely well-known video called the Battle at Kruger. It has over 72 million views and shows an intense battle between some lions, african buffalo, and crocodiles. |

Nice video. Not sure who has the least of luck: The little buffalo that died, the big ones who lost a calf, the croc who missed an easy meal or the lions that have to defend their lives while trying to keep their meal. |

The calf actually never died. If you look closely, you can see that it was safely stuffed back into the back of the herd. It's what makes this video that much more amazing.

In my opinion this must be one of the most beautiful horse breeds out there; the Friesian. Their grace and beauty never ceases to amaze me, especially in this video. |

This has become one of my favorite topics. That video of the buffalos and the lions. So freaking intense! It was awesome. The best part is that the calf survive. But you are right, one of the most incredible nature videos i've seen. Oh man i love animals, i love nature! |

I'm glad you're enjoying the topic. ![]() This next video shows footage of a dolphin rescue off the coast of Hawaii. Just think how amazing it would be to go diving here. |

Apologies for not posting a video today! It's the beginning of the school year so things are a bit hectic at the moment, but I'll post another ASAP. If anyone has one they think would be a nice addition to this thread, feel free to PM me and i'll check it out. If I post it i'll give credits to whoever shared it of course.

I think it's only fair that as this is in the Nature area, any member should be able to post a video if they find one worth sharing, don't you think? |

Well, I was hoping to keep the videos that're shown here very top-quality if possible, which would require moderating. I think the thread would mean more if it didn't become a "waste basket" for random videos that might not necessarily mean too much. For example, what i'm looking for are videos that have significant meaning to them and touch you on a deeper level in some way. A couple that I posted simply show off the pure beauty of nature and wildlife, and have very deep music that, for me at least, brings forth a lot of emotion. The dolphin one shows the compassionate and caring side of humans who actually care about animal life, which is important to see since so many people only see the cruel side of man. The Battle at Kruger is simply an incredible scene that unfolded between three different species at once and was insanely dramatic. That just shows the power and unpredictability of animals and really causes the viewers to gain more respect for these creatures and witness the kind of things that really happen out in the wilds of Africa. So, basically, I hope to keep this thread clear of videos such as 10 second clips of cats or anything else that might not necessarily cause a profound affect on the viewer, or mean anything on a deeper level. Quality over quantity is the way to go in my opinion.
