not just delayed this year, 2 years in a row prior! the velociraptor is missing a fair portion of its wings, but overall its pretty good, I'll almost certainly be picking one up the scale is off (typo?) because at 8" long and 1:50 a real life velociraptor would be 33 feet long the archaeopteryx is the one I'm most excited for, sure the pose may seem cliche, but its still a nice pose, even with the raised wings it remains relatively neutral overall yutyrannus also looks pretty good, I can't think of much to say about it besides that, will probably get it too herbivores are also nice, but I'm not particularly interested in either of them Edited by stargatedalek, Sep 19 2014, 07:05 PM.

What makes me kinda iffy is the Velociraptor's pose. Same old head turned to roar, just like Carnegie's T.Rex, Crylophosaurs, and Concavenator. But it looks too good on its own to pass up. BTW Stargatedalek, are you on the Dinosaur Toy Blog? I was browsing the forums and saw someone with your username (not stalking). Edited by Arrancon, Sep 19 2014, 11:19 PM.

Collecta has revealed some really interesting models, with more to come! First up is Pliosaurus, with some remora-looking things attached to it. ![]() Next we have 2 ceratopsians, Medusaceratops and Nasutaceratops (which Safari Ltd. is also making). ![]() ![]() Then we have 2 pretty obscure species in the Chinese titanosaur Daxiatitan and tyrannosaur Xiongguanlong. ![]() ![]() But that isn't all! Collecta will be revealing the following figures quite soon: - 1:40 Acrocanthosaurus (w/moving jaw) - 1:40 Feathered T. rex (w/ movable jaw... and FEATHERS!) - 1:4 Guidraco (pterosaur w/ movable jaw) - Moropus - Deluxe Smilodon - Deluxe Daeodon - Deluxe Temnodontosaurus EDIT: Found a pic of the Smilodon and Daeodon! ![]() Edited by Arrancon, Nov 2 2014, 11:35 AM.

Velociraptor looks too skinny, especially for a feathered animal. Really loving that titanosaur tho. |

I have seen the Gigantoraptor and Gastonia images before; I assumed they were to be released at the end of this year and didn't post them. Here's the other confirmed figures: Plateosaurus Pentaceratops Nasutoceratops Majungasaurus Yutyrannus Europasaurus Everyone's making Nasutaceratops this year ![]() And Mojo has shown a Velocirapt- OH MY EYES! ![]() Mojo also confirmed a Megatherium and Basilosaurus. I have good feelings about these two, seeing how well their mammals are done. I just got their Entelodont and Hyaenodon as early B-Day gifts yesterday along with some new Collecta figs, and they are AMAZING in person. |

Showing a Velociraptor like that in the year 2014 is just inexcusable.

its not the only atrocity Mojo threw at us this year (although IDK where the pics of the others disappeared to) -tyrannosaurus -brachiosaurus -parasaurolophus -triceratops -and stegosaurus have also been disfigured by Mojo for this 2015 release their modern animals are amazing, as are their prehistoric mammals, but I don't know why they even bother with dinosaurs if they all turn out like that I'll be back in a couple minutes with the new Schleich dinosaurs for this year *edit* Scleich for 2015; Anhanguera ![]() Kentrosaurus ![]() Dino-minis set ![]() ![]() and heres a WIP list for upcoming 2015 releases Spoiler: click to toggle

Some more pics of Collecta's 2015 releases have been revealed! First up, Acrocanthosaurus! ![]() Next up, an AWESOME Guidraco! ![]() And finally... do I even need to introduce this guy? He's got the same feather coloring as the juvenile released this year; just as I was presuming he/she would. ![]() There's also two new images of the Smilodon and Daeodon, too. ![]() ![]() Now the only ones who need revealing are Moropus and Temondontosaurus! finally, a standing pterosaur that's not an azhdarchid!!! ![]() I love it, the splayed toes and other subtle elements of its pose really help to set it apart, the bright colours may be off putting to some but I love them, they give it a very tropical feel and I think they suit the animal very well, and the moving jaw is done very inconspicuously which is nice acrocanthosaurus being a re-sculpt doesn't bother me in the least (and no I'm not just saying that because I don't yet have the charcarodontosaurus )the colours look very nice and natural, and the detail is crisp tyrannosaurus is a real dozy! just having a relatively mass produced (by comparison to the others available) feathered tyrannosaurus is one thing, but to have one with such a thick speculative coat makes it all the more unique for some reason the paint app doesn't feel right to me, the feathers are coloured very nicely, and seem to be heavily inspired by pheasants, but the patterns amongst the feathers extend onto the bare parts of the head which feels odd, but it could just be the picture which admittedly doesn't give the best view of its head (nothing a quick touch up couldn't change anyway )I'm most looking forward to guidraco (its going to be pretty big!), but that tyrannosaurus is also a must have, the acrocanthosaurus is one I'll keep an eye out for |

wow, just looking at some of these pictures made me want to start collecting dinosaur figurines Especially that guidraco and pachyrhinosaurs (on page 2), I mean dayum. But I'm pretty sure if I tried to start a collection I would run out of money and my dad would disown me. Like I don't have enough clutter and kinda nerdy stuff already
