I'm rather pissed off that they have finally made some lovely realistic dinosaurs...
and made them playset exclusive T_T

*EDIT*
something pretty huge, some leaked pics of the new LEGO Jurassic World dinosaurs

(warning, spoilers of fictional designs for the movie enclosed)

That tupuxuara is beautiful, even though its pretty obviously a copy of the sideshow version I'll definitely be getting one (maybe two even!)
The skull is highly shrink wrapped and it lacks pycnofibres, but I can overlook these for such a lovely sculpt of a (relatively) obscure species

Apatosaurus looks nice, but sauropods aren't really my thing, if I saw one in a shop I'd pick it up but considering the local availability of Papo that's unlikely...

Oooh, the Papo figures have been revealed! I like them both, but I'm not sure I'll have any space for the Apatosaurus on my shelves :/ The Tupuxara is a different story, however.

Am I the only one who finds the Quetzacoatlus wing pattern off-putting? the pattern looks too much like a butterflies wings.

You mean the Schleich one? Then yes, I will agree with you there; the original Quetz from the line felt much more realistic and is one of the few Schleich figures I can say I'm proud to own:

I have that one too. It is indeed awesome (albeit inaccurate, but so are most of my figurines).

Now that one is alot better than the "butterfly winged" play set Quetzacoatlus.

Quote:

If this news wasn’t enough to get dinosaur fans roaring with excitement, CollectA will be introducing a total of three Spinosaurus replicas in 2015. The new Deluxe Spinosaurus will be replacing the company’s current Deluxe Spinosaurus. Joining it will be two smaller models in the very popular, not-to-scale model range. The existing Spinosaurus model in the not-to-scale range will be replaced by two replicas, one depicting Spinosaurus on land, the other, a model of Spinosaurus swimming.

first the feathered rex and now this, CollectA are really something!
