While I like they are making an accurate one, I don't like the pattern a lot, it's just copied and pasted from a crocodile.

I'm not slow! That's just my moe!

I'm glad to see (several) new spinosaurus following the recent finds, and so quickly! However I also don't feel as though they made the most conservative choices. For one I don't appreciate the crocodile inspirations, sure it looks aesthetically pleasing but its not realistic to assume this sort of extreme convergence. Not only that but this is going to further the incredibly annoying stereotype of "spinosaurus the dinosaur crocodile" *deep drawn out sigh*. Secondly I don't personally find a quadrupedal stance particularly likely, just because it was the author(s) of the paper who suggested it doesn't make it any more likely than anyone else suggestions (assuming they are within reason of course). Spinosaurus could have moved on land in a great many different ways, it could have slid pushing with its legs like a grebe, or with its arms like a penguin, perhaps leaned on its elbow spreading the weight across the lower arm, heck it could have even have leaned that thick tail against the ground like a retrosaur/penguin hybrid! Out of all the possibilities I find walking on its hands or wrists (whether that be its knuckles, or its palms) to be amongst (if not) the least likely given what we do have of its arms and hands shows no signs of supporting weight. If it was walking on its hands than something amazing was happening to those wrists, and only those wrists at that!

I'm... thoroughly saddened by the state of the JW toy line in its current state, rather depressing actually. On the bright side these ARE still prototypes, so some might improve. As it stands however I'll only be picking up a few of these.

Mega Strike T.rex
it looks... meh... its large and probably soft textured which are good points in its favor, I might snatch one up

Bashers and biters
you know, a couple of these I'll probably get, the ankylosaur, raptor with gear, and allosaurus look promising

Growlers
well, its time the cerato finally got a toy but I don't know if I'll be getting it, dimorphodon is a definite yuck, the others however I might consider

Spinosaurus
oh the irony, the JP3 spino had shorter legs he-he, if this was a re-release of the JP3 spino I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat, but this is just... nah...

Pteranodon and helicopter
O_O
again, I really wish they had gone with a JP3 re-release here...

generic velociraptors are generic and probably not going to pick up without them being on discount

puppets are puppets, not my thing

the chaos effect wannabees however, they have some serious potential and I'll definitely snatch them up!

hero mashers, just... no...

I hope the fictional dinosaurs sell well, I want to see a certain someone rise from the dead:

Yeah, no interest in these; I stick only to standard dino figures (i.e Collecta, Safari, etc). Even though D-Rex/Bad Boy and the Stegoceratops look kinda cool. Seeing the latter on the big screen would be strange yet satisfying.

Want an articulated JP figure? Then you need the Revoltech T.Rex.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Yeah, lots of seams but that level of articulation is worth it!

I might actually see about getting Stegoceratops.

Also, Ankylosaurus and Ceratosaurus Finally get a Full Toy instead of atleast a minifig.
But if Ultimasaurus does make a Return, I'll probably grab it in a heart beat.

The tail could have been made more articulate, why make the body so articulate, but leave the tail as a solid lump of plastic? Unless the tail is made from a softer, more flexible plastic.

yes the tail is soft flexible plastic ;)

the JP 2013 allosaurus and pachyrhinosaurus also have impressive levels of articulation

Just after getting the Carnegie Velociraptor figure, I heard some depressing news: that Velociraptor figure is the last Carnegie figure to be produced :(

The line that inspired me to start my collection is now over. I'm just so sad right now I feel like crying...
