I was feeding fruit flies to my Grey Treefrog, and a piece of foam that keeps the flies from escaping got ripped out, due to the poor fitting of the vial. It fell into the foam, and my frog hopped and ate it. How should I remove the foam? Will it throw it up or poop it out? |

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

It's possible your frog will regurgitate the foam but just as likely it will form a possibly fatal compaction, as unless its very small, it will be too large to pass. In the event it does form a compaction, there is really very little you can do, as I doubt you'll wish to take your tree frog to the vet for an operation to remove the blockage.

Crap. Should she have to eat, or not to feed her? |

The foam was the size of her head, and she is about probably an inch. I read that waxworms and honey water or mineral oil will do. So I fed 2 waxies, and later I'll give her honey water. |

You can only try, now. That's a fairly large object to swallow. Hopefully she'll void it somehow. |

Plus, she's been doing fine, and I don't want her life to end so short

On the bright side: she seems to be doing fine (or I think she's a she, due to her throat) |

The best way to not get your heart broken, is pretending you don't have one.

She seems to be doing well, normal. She's been behaving normally, so Im guessing that she'll either poop it out or throw it up. |

My Fire Belly toad did the same thing. It ate the Foam and never coughed it up. He must have digested it, though this was also the toad how has eaten 4 Large Nightcrawler's in one sitting I'm not sure how a Whites Tree Frog would do with it Hope he gets better |
