Atleast there's nothing saying that people have to kill bears (except in self defense) |

Thank you for the set, Azrael!

While there is generally no absolute necessity to hunt bears, provided you are hunting a non-endangered species and not hunting babies or mothers with cubs, I don't see it as any worse than hunting any other game animal even if I would not personally be able to do it myself. |

Well actually in parts of the United States and Canada there are serious problems with black bear overpopulation. So there is a reason for hunting bears in some situations |

bear hunting is also legal in many European states, but it's heavily regulated afaik, and all parts of the animals are used. |

Polar bears can't be hunted, their home is vanishing from under their feet (literally). |

Here, asiatic black bear and sun bear are in the protection of the government. However, numerous numbers are hunted and killed by poachers every year.... Mostly for their bile, paws and cubs too.

We have no endangered animals here, but people still poach deer without licenses, and recklessly shoot songbirds "for fun". |

Italy is funny because we have both large amounts of poaching but also extreme environmentalists (known as the green ones). both of them are what is ruining true hunting in this country (other than bad running ofd the echosystem from the local authorities) |

People in America also poach the common black bears for their bile. Since WHEN will people get the point that random animal parts are not magical potions?? |
