Look Nice, But I'm I agree with Furka. We do not see much detail on the jaw, I think you should add texture at the jaw, arms and back leg

Sam there definatelly is texture very much tbh and i made it fit the skeletal drawings that are accurate so i don't think it is needed to make the neck thicker... Or if you show me pic of a skeleton which is clearly visible that it should be thicker ill change it... |

Looks amazing! My only criticism is that the colour is a bit bland. Maybe colour it like the Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis or Planet Dinosaur one.

Wow, it looks awesome Roy! Great skin, but I agree that the neck looks a little thin. |

I'm not sure if I like the skin, it seems a little bland. Plus, it's incredibly shiny, almost like an Amphibian. Amphibians have that shiny quality because their skin is smooth, but reptiles have scales which means their skin is far less shiny. Your's looks incredibly smooth, so adding scale texture is almost illogical with that kind of shine. Large Images ^^A Monitor Lizard is not as shiny as a Frog I'd suggest you turn down the shine on the skin and also add a few more colours. Normally predators have different colours, even if they're lighter shades of the same colour, to break up their outline and make them harder to spot. (also I agree about the neck, it's really skinny. It would have had large neck muscles and jaw muscles to hold its head upright and just because a skeleton shows an animal having that thin a neck doesn't mean it did, otherwise they'd have no muscles or fat at all) Edited by Okeanos, Nov 13 2013, 02:54 PM.

How does it look from the top, btw? You're not still just projecting the skins, are you? |

Roy, skeletals are made so that the skeleton is the most important feature of the drawing. Often the skin is made very close to the bones, which is considered inaccurate. Just look at how modern animals differ from their skeletons, you'll see that just basing it on a skeletal isn't enough.

@OS&DM:![]() as you can see OS it has the good texture nifskope only decimate it. And DM as you can see it isn't just a simple side projection i used the amazingly good uv map from dg And @Iben okay then i'll make the neck thicker if that is more accurate! |

I didn't say it didn't have texture, I'm saying the skin reflection and shinyness don't fit with the texture used ![]() (also I think MrGorsh would like some credit for his scale texture, I don't see why people think they don't have to credit that) Edited by Okeanos, Nov 14 2013, 03:35 PM.

People usually save textures in ref folder and forget where did it come from. I really don't care if they are capable of remembering or not, I'm happy that at least they try to use them and don't claim they made them themselves Credit is always nice, though.Anyway, the carcha is nice, though the shiny effect is a little bit off for me

It is most likely a misplaced letter in one of the xmls ( most likely a missing part in the /> endings ), I had that bug several times as well. |

Open your xmls in firefox/chrome or NetBeans ( I'd suggest that one, it shows you where the error is and you can edit it right away ).
