A bit hypocritical that he criticizes pterosaurs for not reaching a ton, when there were still pterosaurs that weighed WAY MORE THAN HE PROBABLY DOES!!! |

And what the hell is Carnoposeidon? A mutant sauropod with a Carnotaurus head probably, or just a normal Sauroposeidon that eat baby pterosaurs, somehow?. That totally makes Diabolus Rex a hundred times better. |

When everyone keep thinking about Dromaeosaurids every time I say "raptors" although sometimes I am actually talking about birds of prey... ![]() My English teacher even used to mark my paragraph with red pen with "You have seen raptor dinosaur in the zoo?" Not a major problem though... |

But that's why crocs are cool, their life is mainly basking in the sun and swimming ![]() More seriously, I think your post sums up pretty much the major annoyancies of paleofans, you only missed the "omg science ruined my childhood" people. |

This guy just shows us how desperate JP fanboys are becoming. They finally realize we're not taking them seriously, so they've gone to harassing actual paleontologists because arguing with the experts makes them feel like they somehow have more power than they'll get from spamming paleo-forums. No true paleo-fan would call any prehistoric animal lame. That's how I separate paleo-lovers from fanboys. Edited by CyborgIguana, May 28 2014, 08:14 PM.

People who use the "but it wouldn't need them" argument against feathers on certain dinosaurs (tyrannosaurids especially). Just because they didn't NEED feathers doesn't necessarily mean they didn't HAVE them! Such logic gives evolution credit for some kind of structured decision-making process that it doesn't have. Unless feathers became a handicap at some point in the later evolutionary history of tyrannosauroids (which I highly doubt), my guess is that they would've retained at least some fluffy integument. |

Well, he showed a pic of Baby Sauropod eating Quetz, sarcastically saying that sauropods saying: Spoiler: click to toggle It is in the 'Stormy Clouds, New Horizon', Pic btw. Something else that annoys me is that most people considering the K/T Extinction as the most deadly extinction. It is nothing as lethal than the Permian extinction!!! Even the creatures that is said to be extinct because of that is not actually extinct, and is still roaming around. Someone was discussing about HTTYD dragon extinction (sorry for spoiling, but it is the topic of HTTYD 3), and someone said "Dragon extinction will the worse extinction to happen since the dinosaur extinction 65 million years ago". It's not even 65 million years ago!! Edited by Bigwhale, May 30 2014, 01:59 AM.

When my friends ask me questions about dinosaurs that are nearly impossible to answer, such as what colours they were and very specific details about their behaviour. I appreciate their curiosity, but do they really think I'm going to know every precise detail about the appearance and biology of an animal that's been dead for more than 66 million years?

And another one annoys me! In TV they are showing the greatest prehistoric discovery, not only they said plesiosaurs as dinosaurs, but worst, they showed that one of the fossils on the list (it's a top 7 list btw). Saying it a hadrosaur 'or a duck billed dinosaur'. And what illustration appear? DR Shunosaurus!!! I even broke the straw I was biting . I'm fine with the CGI and maybe the behavior (lower class people will never know about realistic behavior ), but why! Why would you pick it as an illustration, just because one duck bill? They are far unrelated too, heck theropods are closer related to sauropods. It stil annoys me, Grrr.
