practically a fact ![]() chances of tyrannosaurus not having feathers (per our current knowledge) are slimmer than the chances of my wining a lottery without buying a ticket I hate it when (especially with toy lines, but this goes with any series of anything) most of the dinosaurs will be absolute garbage but amongst them will be one or two that are so nice |

We have just as much evidence that Tyrannosaurus had feathers as we do that giant ground sloths had fur. @Nomis: That Velociraptor doesn't actually look that bad to me, aside from the lack of feathers and the pronated hands. Edited by CyborgIguana, Jun 30 2014, 02:57 PM.

The mindset that dinosaurs are only interesting if they break a record of some kind. When will the press learn that just because a sauropod isn't the biggest doesn't mean it's not newsworthy? |

Yeah, Sauropods with spikes are pretty rad. On a different note entirely, does anybody else hate how every single dinosaur documentary ALWAYS ends at North America? i mean, I know that that's when all the famous Cret dinosaurs lived, like T. rex and Triceratops, but can't you work in a way to have them in your documentary and NOT have them get roasted by the asteroid at the end? I mean, they DID live before the extinction, and it's not like North America was the only place in the world with an active palaeoecology at the K.T. boundary, so why does every single documentary I've seen (Except for Planet Dinosaur, which ended on Hateg Island, if I'm correct) do this? |

Last Day of the Dinosaurs showed Mongolia (though it also showed North America). I do agree that it's annoying that almost every portrayal of Hell Creek ends with it being flattened by the asteroid, however. The fossils from Hell Creek come from a time span of 2-3 million years, so why are we always dropped into Hell Creek just a few short days before the impending doom? |

no doubt about that but it still doesn't justify it completely even when its not the asteroid, so many docu dramas feel the need to end on some pseudo apocalyptic scenario |
