the thing is these are new books, marketed to children, still in print today this art is available in collection "coffee table" books, but it should not be used for childrens books I have a few older books with this same art in them, unfortunately I forget the artists name but its a whole book worth of just the art |

http://phys.org/news/2014-07-declassify-dinosaurs-great-great-grandparents-birds.html I can't wait for the BANDit community to start hyperventilating because apparently, Czerkas is trying to insist that his conclusion from few years ago is right anyway. Would love to read his whole paper on it, but it doesn't seem to be available atm. |

if bird ancestors were not dinosaurs, than all dinosaurs would have to have been descended from creatures with pennaceous feathers |

Many people seem to have surprising difficulty grasping the fact that scientists seldom just make things up. |

Considering the fact that there was also a lengthy Wikipedia argument started by some idiot who still supported the notion that sauropods were primarily aquatic, I can't say this surprises me much. |

The fact that people still seem to view dinosaurs as fantasy creatures, and think that they get to decide how they look. |

It annoys me that when I search "velociraptor" in Google images, only 3 of the first 15 results have feathers and only one of those is feathered correctly. |

Czerkas and Fedducia still seem to be in denial of the fact that their careers are dying. Kind of sad, really. |
