oh most obviously, no freaking way :silly:
I can see cretaceous birds taking over the same sort of niches they hold today, if even that

This comment from the Wikipedia discussion page of Argentinosaurus:

Quote:

I contest the included picture in the article. Is there any solid proof these argentosaruide giants could roam dry lands like biological versions of the AT-AT imperial walker? Common mechanical wisdom suggests a 100+ tons body would collapse the legs under its own weight! The fact that their nose openings were on top of the head indicates they lived in waters and their body was always submerged to support the vast weight with buoyancy. Only the top of their heads were above water ever.

If you thought the Beelzebufo comment was bad, you ain't seen nothing yet.

nostrils on top of head isn't even accurate
IIRC no sauropod could possibly submerge below its shoulders or its neck would crush

This guy can only be one of three things: a time-traveller from the 1930s (which is unlikely, since if he were he could just go back in time 97 million years and see for himself how wrong he is), a troll, or just ignorant.

typically a troll wouldn't stick to something so mundane, I think ignorant

although perhaps they can only travel forward in time to avoid causing paradoxes

Two things.

1. What was that hangout stargate? I could not find it.

2. Never underestimate the stupidity of people, as you will always be disappointing. If a person says something stupid, unless they clearly state that they know better, odds are, they genuinely are unbelievably, unimaginably, stupid. Some are ignorant, yes, but those two things are not mutually exclusive, in fact, one often causes the other.

i think if you go back in time and alter something you just make a new timeline.

i think if you go back in time and alter something you just make a new timeline.
depending on canon that can vary

for example;
-in Steins Gate, Mirai Nikki, and Terra Nova, you create an alternate universe
-but in Back to the Future you reshape the extant universe, sometimes even killing yourself
-or in Primeval, Simpsons, Doctor Who, and Chased by Dinosaurs you reshape the extant universe, but the time traveler themselves is immune, since they already shouldn't exist they can't be rewritten

back to WAYAP
the fact that the Planet Dinosaur spino is EVERYWHERE!!!
I swear its the new WWD liopleurodon
I mean, its not exactly a bad spino, but the fact everyone is using it

Im saying thats how i think time will work.

Even more annoying than the new completely unscientific studies by Czerkas and Fedducia is the fact that their conclusions are receiving completely unneeded attention from the press. This is last year's Brian Ford incident all over again!

The fact that many people portray Velociraptors using the body of Deinonychus. I mean, they are obviously different!!

Also, I stumbled on a dino hunting game today, and found some really bad and icky dinosaurs

'Velociraptor'

'Staurikosaurus' (Trust me, this is worse)

An Icky 'Hypsilophodon'

On the positive side, they do have a beautiful fluffy, and proper armed Citipati
Citipati
